Tito or Rashad : Who Wins
UFC 73 is going to be sweet, and for the most part I can make semi-strong predictions on each fight. Nate is the best challenge for Anderson Silva, but I would still pick Silva, Sherk is going to be too powerful and explosive in my opinion, Sherk, Noguira is going to own Herring, and Florian is going to own Robinson in my opinion at least.
But the Rashad and Tito fight, thats a hard one to call, Rashad is so explosive and quick, but Tito is such a good wrestler, and unlike anyone Rashad has ever faced, so I dont no if it will be another case of Rashad being too fast for the fighter and dominating again, or if Tito will be quck enough to block the takedowns, and do his legendary gnp.
Give some input please.

There's a thread with a poll on this already.
And surprisingly, Tito is winning that one convincingly.
The poll, not the fight.

i dont really know why because it is a pretty close fight to call but i think that rashad will take it. i think that titos days of winning close decisions may be a thing of the past, if he wants to win he better do it before the judges get the fight. i didnt like rashad that much on tuf but since the show ended he has grown on me. he is strong, and an amazing wrestler with good strikes, i hope he wins.

to me this is an incredibly interesting fight. Tito is a great fighter, he is still young enough to change his game a bit and take another run at a title.
Rashad has all the tools to become a champion. This matchup is fascinating on so many levels, from Rashad stepping up to the big stage, to Tito facing top level competition other than Liddell.
That being said I wont be surprised to see this fight be 3 rounds of tentative standup and careful LnP. I hope I am wrong and we see them both go for it, instead of fight carefully for a decsision.
The winner of this match could really build momentum if they win convincingly. Tito announceing he is back in the title picture, or Rashad announcing his arrival as a top tier fighter.
However, this match could also diminish both fighters if it is an uneventful decision where they both play it careful and angle toward the judges. I really wish they had the pride rule of the yellow cards when I see a fight like this coming up.

Yeah, it could go like the Koscheck/Sanchez fight that many people were looking forward too a little while ago. That fight was OK, IMO, but not nearly as exciting as it could have been.
With Rashad/Tito, their styles may not match up so good in terms of excitement. I see it possibly going just how you described it.

This could be a boring fight, but lately Rashad's fights have been more exciting, and Tito also doesn't have to many boring fights, they are usually exciting. So I think the first round might be a little slow but after that the pace should speed up and it should be a good fight.
I say Tito by 3rd round gnp or a decision

Ill go with rashad, but i think it could go either way.
Rashed has more ways to win the fight imo, considering its very unlikely tito will KO anyone.

How many more threads like this do we need???
There's a bunch of Tito vs Rashad threads already. Let's move on to bigger and better things. Tito vs Rashad is getting old. Use previous threads to discuss already posted subjects. No need to have like 5 different Tito Vs Rashad threads asking the same question.
Sorry man not knocking your thread, but this is getting old now.

I honestly can't see why this is an argument.
Lemme solve what some of you Rashad Huggers think.
It's kinda like the Hillary Clinton thing. She's strong, you like her everyone likes her. But EVERYBODY knows nobody is gonna put her in office
Same with Rashad. Everyone likes him. Tito is superior with experience and strength, and BTW MMA experience. It sucks, I dont like it, but Tito will win.
Why?
Cause that's what Tito does. Either KTFO of me? Or I wear you down all the way!
Tito is that little bugger that everybody likes to hate, just like HIllary and rightfully so bets against, but with all things considered? Tito
WINS and is prepared.
Tito is the epitome of what you ant in a modern MMA fighter. Someone who thinks nothing more than about training all the time. Period.
Can you say the same about Arnold from Diferent strokes?
It's gonna come down to Cardio and Rashad doesent have it.
Not on Tito's Level
Tito by stoppage round II.
I'll put all 311,000 points i have vs 2,000 points on anyone the night before the fight. That's how confident I am.

The only way Evans is going to beat Ortiz is by coming out hard and intimidating Ortiz the whole time, other than that I see Ortiz taking it.
