The tri-choke is a good call. Cote I think will be stronger so he might get on top of Kendall, but he isn't the best when it comes to defending submissions. On the feet, I expect Cote to score a lot more, to out box him, but I see Grove being more likely to get the knockout because his style is more open, he might throw some flying front kicks, knees to the head, etc.

I'll be hoping for Cote to get this victory and I think he could. Cote is a bad fighter to try to build somebody's career on. He's strong and he's one of those guys that is so confident, he may actually be too confident. And he's very scrappy. They're both exciting so this should be a great fight.

I really don't like this fight. I like both fighters a lot. I want to see Kendall do really well in the MW division, but Cote really needs a win. I say Grove by decision.

I don't see this going into the third, and if it hits the floor things won't be looking so hot for the predator.

The interesting thing about this announcement (Good find, btw, Mulla) is what it means between the lines. With the addition of Grove, I believe that this means that Tim Sylvia is now off the card.

If you all remember, Sylvia was rumored to be fighting Mir at UFC 74 until other rumors surfaced that the NSAC wouldn't authorize this matchup until Mir starts performing better against lesser opponents. On MMAWeekly's site, Sylvia was then (and still is) rumored to still be fighting at UFC 74, but no opponent was given.

Since Grove will obviously be a main card fight, that means the card already has five main card fights without Sylvia. Looks like he'll be bumped.

With this deduction, perhaps I should change my screenname to Sherlock Holmes?

It is a good fight. Two young up-and-comings go at it. Bring it on! It does not matter that Grove seems the likely winner here. As we all have witnessed, predictions are pretty much wrong all the time.

I am looking forward to this one.

Grove better win since he is representing my name!!! But for real I think Grove is going to take it since he has improved so much since the show. I don't think it will be by knockout since Cote has one hell of a jaw.

I hope grove takes it, the kids got talent and his size should pose a problem for a lot of fighters in his class.

Grove will take this. His ground game is way better and he can easily take COte down. Working from the top or botton Grove will eventually get a sub either in the second or the third.
