The whole thing started when Dana had to lie about Nick Diaz being a "UFC-reject" and beating Gomi, when the truth was PRIDE simply made a better offer for Diaz.
That was a disrespectful, personal attack on a fighter, and a president of the UFC should be more professional.
He seems to ALWAYS let personal things and his feelings have an effect on business and that's just wrong. He's done many things right with UFC, but if he can't be more professional, I'd wish they would just replace him with someone else.

It's not just this one thing. It's an accumulation of things. Doesn't it seem that we are having this conversation about Nick way too often? Their must be a reason.

True. But to be fair, Jerry Millen isn't even worthy of kissing Dana White's feet....or my feet....or your feet. I think you see where i'm going.

I understand that a lot of people view Nick as an arrogant ****-talker. I don't see what that has to do with this.
"There must be a reason"?
What is the reason? Dana doesn't like competition, so he puts down Diaz and does this?

I'm sure there is a "reason" for it, I'm just not convinced it's justification for what's been done.

And using your own comment, doesn't it also seem we are having this convo about Dana too often?

What I find strange is that, IMO, it seems like Nick Diaz has not done anything that Tito Ortiz has not done. I mean, he seems to hype the fights effectively with his way of talking about opponents and up-coming fights. Tito has said a lot of funky stuff about Dana White. But, then again, IIRC, Tito only has one or two fights outside of the UFC (even when he stepped out for a spell, he did not fight anywhere else). Maybe that is the key point.

We need to have nick back in the ufc or pride, I love the guy he's one of my favorites. Yes he does talk smack, but when he fights he brings it every time without fail. A true warrior.

I have to agree here. I have yet to be bored by a Diaz fight (Nate or Nick). These brothers have a thing going as a fighting family in combat sports. That should be something that the UFC should want to encourage and bring along. Who knows, the Diaz brother might have kids someday that will grow up to be second generation fighters. Look at the Nogs, the Gracies, etc. It's a market angle that people like. I think it's a big mistake to stiff-arm Nick Diaz.

Most definite its no coincidence they both have warrior attitudes, Also i expect Nick to open a school so this really isn't to good for business. I really cant understand this at all. Hes a love him hate him character, perfect for business.

I am by no means a Dana White fan. I was just wondering why everyone is pointing the finger at Dana only. If Dana didn't want Nick in the UFC than why would he want him in Pride? Why is this such a shock to anyone?

If I kick someone out of my house because I don't like them; I sure as hell don't want them in my summer home either.

Is it even a fact that this stems from Nick's comments regarding Frank Shamrock? Just wondering.

Because PRIDE and UFC were promised to be ran as two seperate entities, but now Dana is letting his own personal biases flow over into another org.

I did, as the Fertittas themselves explicitly stated that Pride Worldwide would not be run by Zuffa.

I can't stand Nick......I wouldn't want him in my org he is bad for the image of the org and the sport.

He is what most non-MMA fans think MMA fighters are a bunch of punks that beat each other up.

I guess I'm with you on that side of Nick...however I've never seen Nick in a boring fight which is why I like him. Honestly, I watch MMA to be entertained and Nick is an entertaining fighter.

Yeah if you want someone with good manners and neatly parted hair , saying yes sir no sir, a history of saveing little kittens from a terrible fire,.... and lapping the establishment dirty feet.... Nicke Diaz isn't going to be your guy. If you want a very good young fighter that is sweet in the art of BJJ, stand up getting better and better... Last four losses Riggs, Diego,Sherk, Karo went to the wired and easily could have went the other way .. Nick is a warrior. Look at the cream puffs some of these highly touted fighters get to fight month in and month out. Nick has fought mostly top ten and top five's in his last 2 years in the UFC.
Just let it be said DANNA White wants a Lap Dog. Nick Diaz don't play that.

Hes a good fighter.....But the UFC is the Majors and Nick = Pacman Jones to the UFC.

LoL Maybe not that bad but you get the idea.....Yeah hes a good fighter but their are a lot of things about him that hurt the org as a brand and what kind of product they are trying to bring to the public.

Only time I ever liked Nick was the Gomi fight when he ended it with that GoGo....LoL I love the GoGo.

But other then that I hate even seeing the guys face so I'm kind of glad really that he won't be around for a little while at least in the UFC, Plus other orgs are not so low like they used to be EXC, Bodog, IFL....All put on good shows that are solid contributor to MMA so its not like him moving to one of those is some big step down.

Lets not forget he lost a lot of fights in a row in the UFC and only has like one very close win since that so going off the way everyone else gets moved around he still needs a few good fights before coming back to the UFC.......I don't care that he beat Gomi (While having drugs in his system) its still only one win and it wasn't a great win it was just a good close fight not a over powering win by no means.

He is what most non-MMA fans think MMA fighters are a bunch of punks that beat each other up.
Then I guess Muhammad Ali was bad for boxing, aye? The Diaz brothers are great fighters and can draw in fans. Your logic is extremely flawed, my friend.

[EDIT] Impale White!
