There's your UFC for you. UFC is street fighting in a cage. Boxing is a controlled, skilled talent. There's no comparison. Boxing's not going anywhere. It's hundreds of years old, man. You want to see biting, kicking, and kneeing?
LOL

The only fight I remember seeing biting in was Tyson vs. Holyfield.

im tired of discussing B-Hops ignorance so ill discuss this quote instead

Quote:
When you fought Oscar De La Hoya, did you ever think, Man, this guy's so pretty, I can't tell if I'm fighting a man or a woman?

No. Just the opposite. I thought, Let me go ahead and bust him up, and make him look like me. This guy's a boxer, but he's never looked like he's been in a tough fight. That was my goal, to make him look like he'd been in a war.

firstly, what a crappy question to ask. And secondly if im readin it correctly, a classy respectful response from B-Hop that took the sharp end out of that question, glad he didnt choose to play into the interviewers little retarded trap

These boxers talk a great game but they won't step in the octagon or ring with a MMA fighter!

All I hear when Hopkins or Mayweather talks is "Blah,Blah,Blah, my next fight is going to a decision and I will make millions."

He's doing the exact same thing as Maywhether did before his fight. He's talking trash to try to get all the MMA fans mad enough to watch his fight in hopes to seeing him lose. Thats all he's doing. Maywhether, after his fight, backpeddled pretty quickly on his comments concerning the UFC and MMA.

Hopkins would get knocked cold in the first round. MMA makes boxing look like a kids game.

That magazine is in no way serious, he knew that going in. He is partners with DeLa which is why he was asked that.

b-hop is a great fighter and the one thing that nobody seems to understand is how disrespectful these ******* reporters are. i would choose ufc over boxing anyday but i understand why they have so much anger in them. thats his life and the truth is mma is taking over and for these assholes to keep bringing up the ufc is a slap in the face to some of the greatest athletes of all time. its simple you interview a boxer you talk about boxing, vice versa for mma. but dont blame them for defending all they have. i dont see any mma fighters stepping in the ring with them. its two different sports and i'm sure if someone told liddell you may have great hands but you cant compare to a real pro boxer he would have just as much anger in him. think about both sides guys even if like me your more of an mma fan.

cause you dont see reporters asking about boxing. they keep it professional and talk mma. the way it should be,and its pointless to give a sport your taking over attention.

If you asked 10 boxers what they thought about MMA I bet 9/10 would bash it. If you asked 10 MMA fighters what they thought about boxing I bet 9/10 would praise it.

I disagree.. boxing couldn't get any more attention. Everyone knows about boxing. What the MMA fighters need to do is put the trash talking boxers on the spot and have them explain themselves. There's nothing to lose, and a whole lot of exposure for MMA to be gained. And considering a lot of MMA fighters are very well educated men, I doubt they'ed have a problem out smarting a boxer.

I've never seen a submission in a bar fight, or any street fight for the matter. If you have a guy in an armbar his friend will just come over and stomp on your head.

you guys are too one sided,if you were in a position where the job you do to support your family was in serious s**t because of another company that offered more work. the last thing you would want to talk about is how that company is taking yours over.
