And look at Swick's record, I would argue that Goulet has defeated more top talent than Swick has.

I'd much rather see the Leben matchup. I have to say I'm looking forward to seeing Swick fight at WW regardless of the opponent, but I think Swick deserves a good challenge.

How about Thiago Alvez?

I think that Swick will win this fight by first round TKO/KO. If I remember correctly Goulet doesn't have very good standup.(the luke cummo fight comes to mind.) But Goulet did have good gnp in the cummo fight. So I think that the only way Goulet has a chance is if he can get swick on his back.

I kinda like this match up. Both pretty well-rounded fighters, and if theres some hatred between them it might make for an even more entertaining match.

Could you even classify wins over Shonie Carter and Jeff Joslin as impressive?

Of course, I wouldn't argue that Leben is a radically better fighter than Goulet, but at least the Leben matchup had the compelling storyline of a potentially vindicating rematch for Swick.

If the Swick/Goulet fight does happen, I wonder if it will still be the main event. I wouldn't be surprised if Din Thomas/Spencer Fisher fight leapfrogged them for the top billing.
