UFN: Fisher vs. Thomas confirmed - Fight Forum - MMA - UFC - Boxing - K1

For those of you who didn't know, Spencer Fisher will be fighting Dean Thomas at Ulitmate Fight Night on September 19th. Fisher loves the fight nights. Also confirmed on the card is Chris Leben vs. Terry Martin and Mike Swick vs. Jonathan Goulet. I think Martin will KO Leben early on and Swick will also have the upper hand against Goulet. Your thoughts?

I think its got a couple exciting fights that have to be as expected just due to the contestants. Din Thomas, Spencer, Quick, and the Crippler usually make the fights good. I am really happy with the quality of these recent UFN's, I really enjoyed the last one.

I'm taking thomas and goulet this time around, i just have a good feeling about this. goulet by tko rd 1, thomas by sub rd 1.

Goulet, ya think? I think he leaves himself open to much, like with Duane Bang.

ya but he looked good in his last tko bout, im goin by that.

and for the terry martin bout i say martin by ko, leban looked lousy in his last fight.

Yea, I think one disadvantage for Swick is that this is his frist fight down. As far as Leben, I think he is mentally ruined right now, going from undefeated to this on and off game he is going crazy because he can not take losses. And Terry has been a savage lately.

True, Leben freaks out every time he loses, but it looks like he has another one coming to make 3 straight losses in the UFC.

Assuming Sean Sherk is stripped of the title I think the Fisher vs. Thomas winner is probably next in line for a title shot after BJ Penn vs. Roger Huerta. That'd be the way I'd do it anyway.

I dislike Chris Leben, but I also wouldn't mind seeing Terry Martin losing. Either way I'm ok with the outcome as long as it's a KO.

Swick should win his fight pretty easily.

Lebens got a good chin, but Martin hits HARD. I like martin in that fight. I think fisher will be a little too quick for thomas. Spencer likes to push the pace alot so i think he can take din offgaurd. I also like swick over goulet, I think we're gonna see a new, better swick at 170.

Yeah Leben has a decent chin, but we have seen what hard technical striking can do to him.
