FANTASY CHALLENGE GAME RULES

OVERVIEW
UFC Fantasy Challenge tests your skill and knowledge of Ultimate Fighting® by allowing you to choose the winner of every match in the upcoming event. Check back before every event to make your selections online. Earn points for each correct selection.

SPONSORS

ELIGIBILITY
The Game is open to persons who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of April 20, 2007. Employees, officers, directors, members, agents, representatives and their immediate family members (and those living in the same household) of Sponsors, their advertising and promotion agencies or any person or entity connected with the production, administration or judging of the Game, or any of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents or representatives, are not eligible to win. Each participant in the Game must be the rightful owner or have authorized use of the e-mail account associated with the e-mail address provided by participant. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the winner, the winner will be deemed to be the person in whose name the e-mail account is opened at the time of registration. If you are not eighteen (18) years of age or older or a legal resident of the above named eligible countries, you may play the Game, but you will not be eligible to win prizes.

TO ENTER
Sign up online at Fantasy.UFC.com. No purchase required. Entrants will be asked to create a user ID and password, which they will use for future login to their team page. You may enter at any time during the Game up to three hours prior to the start time of the first bout. One entry per email address allowed. Multiple entries by the same user will result in disqualification from the Game. Total number of entries for the Game is limited to the first 5,000, during the Beta. Once 5,000 entries have been received, registration will close for that Game.

PLAYING THE GAME
To submit your entry, you will make selections in four separate groups - the winner, the type of win, the round and time of round of the win for each fight card in the upcoming UFC event. Groupings are presented for every fight card for the current event. Selections must be made in all four groupings for every fight card. For each fight card, you will select the winner of the match, the type of victory the match will end in, the round the fight will end and the time in the round you think the match will end. Point totals awarded for correct selections in each group vary depending on the grouping. Points for a correct selection in the time of round group will be awarded despite an incorrect selection in the round of victory group.

In the event a fighter falls out of card, your selection will not be changed. It is the responsibility of the participant to login and make a new selection based on the updated fight card.

SCORING
You will be awarded points for correct selections in each group based on the following scoring system:

Winner = one (1) point for each correct pick.
Type of Victory = five (5) points for each correct pick.
Round of Victory = seven (7) points for each correct pick.
Minute of Victory = ten (10) points for each correct pick.

BONUS points=Predict all four of the above groups correct in any fight card and earn 15 bonus points.

Specifically, a correct pick is when you correctly select the winner from a listed grouping. Points for a correct selection in any group will be awarded despite an incorrect selection in any other group (i.e. even if you fail to select the correct winner of the match, but do correctly predict the type of victory, you would still be awarded points for the correct selection). To earn points in the Minute of Victory group, you must only select the minute and not the exact time. So, by selecting the 1:00 minute mark from the drop-down menu, any victory from 1:00 - 1:59 is considered a correct selection.

For example, let's say the first match pits Michael Bisping and Alexander Houston against each other and you select Houston as the winner, by submission-choke, in round 1 at 4:00. The actual results of the match are Bisping winning by submission-choke in round 2 at 4:10. You would be awarded a total of 15 points for that match for selecting the correct type of victory and the correct minute of victory.

The participant accumulating the most points will be deemed the winner (see "tiebreakers" below). Scoring is based only on the matches actually completed in the current event. If, for any reason, a match is postponed you will only receive points for those matches that are officially completed.

NOTE: The official results of the UFC fantasy game will be determined by the applicable governing athletic commission overseeing the bouts during the event. Any later changes or appeals to the bout results made after the event evening shall not affect the outcome of the UFC fantasy game.

Tiebreakers
In addition to selecting the correct prediction from each of the four groupings, you will be required to submit an answer to one (1) tiebreaker question. The tiebreaker question will require you to predict the exact round time that specified main event match will end. The tiebreaker prediction will only be used for tiebreaker purposes and no points are awarded for correct predictions. In the event of a tie, the participant involved in the tie whose "tie-breaker" prediction is closest to the actual round time the main event match ended (regardless of whether the predicted round time exceeds or is less than the actual round time) will be deemed the winner. For example, if participant 1 predicts that the exact round time will be 2:10 and participant 2 predicts the round time of 1:50 and the actual round time is 1:45, participant 2 would be deemed the winner because he/she made a more accurate tie-breaker prediction. If a tie still exists, the tie will be broken through a random drawing from those who are still involved in the tie.

GAME DEADLINES
The deadline to select winners of each match or to make changes to picks that have already been made is three hours prior to the start of the first bout of the respective event. No selections or changes to picks will be allowed inside of three hour prior to the start time of the first bout.

PLAY WITH YOUR FRIENDS
When entering you can create or join a group of friends to compete against. When creating a group, you will be asked to enter a group name and password which can be used by your friends to join at anytime. Prizes will not be awarded for groups (public or private).
NOTE: If any customer, who wins, provides false address information, they forfeit their prize.

I signed up as well. For those of you interested, Fight Forum also has a team at mmaplayground.com. It's laid out the same way, but it's a little easier (i.e. no correctly picking the minutes or seconds) and cash prizes are awarded. If you sign up, PM me and I add you to the team.
