Yet Kos was the one who signed on the dotted line of his contract. Kos signed a longer term contract to ensure a consistent payday. I'm sure he'll be paid more in his next contract, but he was completely unknown before TUF.

I'm pretty sure the fighters don't have to pay any Doctor/Hospital bills. That would make some fights unprofitable. The UFC must have to insure the fighters

but also, all that publicity means his sponsors are paying him more and more. Do you really think he could live off of 10k for 3-4 fights per year?

You must be thinking of the Fight Night events.

$4000 for Crane is a joke indeed...

As stated before this was just what was submitted to NSAC. Hughes pay goes down as 250k. But in a radio interview they were pressing him to disclose what he makes. The interviewers told him that they read on sherdog he gets 300k. Matt laughed and said "not even close." They asked if he made a mill and he hesitated and said he'd rather not say. Randy made BANK I guarantee you.

I can only hope those 4k numbers arrn't true.

[quote=MTKrav911;216845]OH for sure. He's always been one of the highest paid fighters. He probably has alot of contractual goodies and bonuses that are given for him above just his fight salary.

I wasnt too sure whether you were being sarcastic or not until your last two lines.

Kos only made 10k officially? lol, that is prett low considering if he had won he would be the no.1 contender. I am sure that Randy made closer to 750k than 250.

Lot's of people live off much less than that. Of course, if you factor in the cost of his hair care products that's another story....

True about the sponsors. But 30 - 40k a year is more than enough to live off of. In college I made about half that without help from anyone.

Your right, I forgot about the fight nights and there pay scale. Man, thats why top contender usually stay top contenders, cause they can afford to train full time. Oh well you gotta start somewhere.
