Martin will KO him within 3min.
People seem to only remember Martin for the flying knee from Irvin that knocked him cold for several minutes. But he was mauling Irvin for the 1st 5min of that match, before being stupid and telelgraphing his shot. A beating at the hands of Lambert is his only other loss, which ain't bad for a shortass little dude who spent way too much time wanting to be a LHW. Dropping to MW was a great move for him. He could be a big spoiler in that group. I don't imagine him as Championship caliber....but no one in that weight class had better take him lightly. Just ask Rivera & Salaverry about that. Leben's gonna take as big a beating as he did against Silva. Maybe not as pretty and precise....but every bit as devastating.

Honestly...I can't stand either of these guys. Both are mouthy and arrogant to a fault. Love to see'em KO each other. :

I don't know too much about Martin's background, but I thought that he's a wrestler with heavy hands? His wrestling seemed to be pretty good from what I've seen. At least as good or better than Leben's. And in regards to submissions, Martin has 5 of his 16 wins by way of submission. While Leben has 4 out of 16 wins via submission. So they seem pretty much even in the submission department.

I see this fight going down as both guys coming out swinging. Martin may try for the takedown, and may get it; but I also see Leben trying to keep the fight on their feet. And definitely someone gets KO'd in the first round. As both have heavy hands, it could be either one. But with Leben's chin, he may be able to survive a couple good shots from Martin. It seems like a close fight to call, but maybe the stronger fighter, Martin, will win.


Agreed 100%. Maybe this will be the fight that ends Leben's UFC career. I hope so.

I was actually surprised that they even gave Leben another fight after his loss to Starnes. If he loses this one, which I think he will, he is done in the UFC for sure. Off to IFL you go.

Martin may not have a lot of submissions but he does / can take people down and use GnP to pound out a win. I dont see Leban winning this one. Martin is stronger, faster, and more explosive. I just dont see Leban winning other than landing some big shot that he is fond of throwing.

I don't know if Martin is better at taking a hit, but he's so explosive I don't think Leben will be able to mount any offense if Terry gets off first.

OOh man I can't dissagree more. Martin has VERY heavy hands and is very accurate. Leben is going down.

I see Martin winning this one by TKO. Even if Leben's winning the standup (which I dont think he will), Terry can always take him down and grind out a win there. He kept the much larger James Irvin down for a whole round, I doubt he'll have a problem doing the same to Leben.
