Wink Royce Gracie to return to MMA action. Damn hope its the UFC. That would rock.

Taken from maxfighting,....

According to www.roycegracie.tv, Royce Gracie, the man who captured the imagination of us all back in UFC 1-4, will be back in MMA action. The website’s United States schedule page informs visitors that Royce is scheduled to fight on December 31st, 2005. There is no mention of where or for what organization. It is doubtful that it is the UFC, but in this day and age anything is possible. MaXfighting will keep you posted on any new developments.

That would be something, especially to the old school UFC fans who remember him from then.

i imagine he'd be in the light heavyweight division if he did come back to the UFC but really, why would he? he has nothing left to prove to anyone. he does'nt need money thats for sure. this is the same for alot of guys who go to Pride, they all say they'll fight anyone but like Wanderlei Silva, they never do. there is too much BS and not enough money in the UFC.

The Gracies have not fought in the UFC, but I have seen them backing up certain fighters in the ring. At least 2 or 3 times they have been the trainers and back up crew. Though I cannot recall exactly which fighters in the UFC, but it was very cool to see them their.

Royce probably will not come to UFC, but it is a nice idea to entertain none the less.

Royce's last fight ( and any Gracie as far as I know) in the UFC was in # 5 super fight against Shamrock.

If the UFC would have used judges for that fight Shamrock would have won by decision.

The entire gracie family left SEG when the UFC added its first rule change. I dont think you will see him back, though it would be the boost they need right now.

like royce said in an interview, he could sell out 71,000 seat arenas with pride. His name on a card means sell out and huge PPV. Do you really think he is gonna come to the ufc and make pennies with his name? He is gonna go to pride and make the big bucks, and probably lose.

What are you talking about? Between UFC 1-5 Royce had 13 fights in the UFC.
