hammil vs. bisping was the exact opposite of what i expected in every way
hammil outstrikes bisping for some of the fight! i was shocked, he really nailed mike a couple times. I mean the hammer was hanging fine on the feet with bisping, no problems at all until he gassed in the third round.
hammil cant take bisping down! bisping comes out and defends the td. He used too not be able too stop a td from the average opponent and he was stuffing a world class wrestlers td attempts!
Not what i thought id see at all.

he took him down quite a few times, he just let him up to try and catch him in those headlocks
bisping may have actually escaped once, hamill didnt try to hard to get the fight to the ground it seemed

I don’t like the attitude of some of the fans who always like to complain. When they say if you had a quick fight that they wished it was longer and if you have a long fight they say you should have beaten this guy quicker. Some people you just can’t please. If it is so easy, they can put on a glove and do it themselves. I’ll watch them fight.

yeah he took him down but bisping also stuffed many of the attemps and got up extremely quick when he did get taken.
i did not expect him too be able too do that. your right tho allot of the fight hammil was content too slug it out.

I thought hamill should have did the hockey/headlock a few more times. That seemed to work really well in the 1st round. There were a couple of times were Hamill looked like he could have tried to get on the back of Bisbing but he didn't try for it.

maybe hamill hasnt refined his skills on the ground as far as consistent GnP, sub evasion, and submission attempts and didnt want to risk boring the fans, he had the upper hand on an exciting stand up battle and didnt want to be accused of LnP
then again i dono what the hell goes on in a fighters mind, i do feel that hes not wanting to risk subs since he cant really hear his corner giving instruction at those most critical times, you know?
he did pass bispings guard once or twice impressively though

in short both fighters dissapointed me with offensively using there more effective realm's but impressedme with using skill's at a level i thought neither had.
i never though bisping had what it took too stuff td from hammil, i didnt think hammil would be able too stand with bisping like he did

This really could have been added to the one of MANY threads about this topic.

No need for a new thread. There are many threads already with ongoing debates. Please keep the Bisping / Hammil comments in one of those threads.
