Okay.... Why is James Irvin even fighting in the UFC? What could Dana possibly see in him? Irvin is a scrub who was dominated by a guy in the octagon, then did some crazy ass jumping move and got REALLY lucky and pulled a win outta his behind.... then after the fight he acts like he actually won it from skill, he was acting like he planned to knock him out with the lucky ass knee.... He was very unimpressive the few times I have seen him fight, he is overly cocky for his lack of skills. Why is he even around? I would rather watch Frank Trigg fight than this chump any day!
Hell, I'd rather see Tank fight than this guy, thats how much I don't like James Irvin

How can a guy that finished pretty much all his fights with a KO be unimpressive? What more does he need to do? I would rather see Irvin fight in UFC then most of the "TUF stars" as they are called.

...that's 9 and 1. His knee KO wasn't lucky at all. Martin tried to shoot from much to far away and gave Irvin all the time he needed to KTFO. That was a solid KO too, Martin lost four teeth and I forget how long he was out for.
And remember, Martin was undefeated going into that bout.
i don't think he's that bad.. that flyin knee was quite impressive to me...
in his two UFC fights he has looked like ****. he got cdominated in the first round against martin and mike kyle man handled him. i can see why some people dont think hes good hell i dont but i dont think that knee was luck either.
Maybe its his attitude mixing in with his "fight skills" but he just isn't impressive to me..... I would rather see some fighters from TUF2 fight before this kid..... He is stupid, he acts like he is some good fighter but isn't......
That was his second KO by knee in a row. I like Bonnar but I think that Irvin is hungrier. I don't think Bonnar can handle him, especially on the feet.
I was very impressed with Bonnar when he fought Griffin...that was a classic fight. But for Sam Hogar to take him to a decision made me wonder how good Bonnar really is.
Irvin is a good fighter, I've seen 5 of his fights. I was telling my friends the whole first round of the Martin fight that Irvin just needs one to end it. Then "BAM" he ended it. I think the Bonnar will do just fine on his feet against Irvin. Bonner has him on the ground too. He just has to watch for Irvin's brut strength. An watch out for those vicious knees.
irvin might have looked bad againt Kyle but that was heavy weight. He is in light heavy weight now and i think he is more dangerous than most people here think.
Irvin is kind of like a younger star that I think UFC wants to build that hasn't been in TUF. He deserves the spot and I see him knocking out Bonnar. Bonnar in my opinion isn't that strong of a fighter.
Dont care, Irvin is now on top of the world, i think hes extremely over rated would lose to Hughes, about thirty pounds lighter.
