Houston Alexander Post-UFC 75 Video Interview
Quote:
MMAjunkie.com (UFC news, MMA news, UFC rumors, UFC gossip, fighter interviews and event previews and recaps - MMAjunkie.com (formerly UFCjunkie.com)) recently caught up with promising UFC newcomer Houston Alexander (8-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) and his coach, Mick Doyle, for an in-depth and exclusive video interview.
With his recent victory over UFC veteran Alessio Sakara (11-6 MMA, 2-3 UFC), the Nebraska hip-hop DJ and rising light heavyweight contender Alexander (8-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) proved his lightning-quick knockout of Keith Jardine at UFC 71 may just be par for the course.
At UFC 75, the longtime amateur underground fighter nearly decapitated Sakara with a knee from the clinch that instantly sent the Italian to the canvas. Alexander was pulled off the opponent after a couple follow-up punches and secured his second knockout victory in the UFC.
MMAjunkie.com’s Eric “Performify” Foster caught up with MMAjunkie.com-sponsored fighter Alexander and Coach Doyle (a former world champion kickboxer himself) at Doyle’s impressive Muay Thai and grappling gym in Omaha, Neb. (www.mickdoyle.com).
In the in-depth interview, Alexander answers questions about his training and gameplan for his fight at UFC 75, his ongoing training, his ground skills, and who he’d like to face next. In the second half, Coach Doyle jumps in to give his thoughts on the fight as well as Alexander’s ongoing training and development.
The interview actually runs almost 20 minutes, so it wasn’t a good fit for streaming over YouTube.
Instead, we have several download versions — including versions for the iPod/iPhone — linked after the jump.

Good to see a longer interview with someone, especially Houston who I haven't seen interviewed before.
