yea because he is making excuses

you dont know he might have trained his ass off

i dont see why it is ok for a fighter to lie to fans "o i trained harder than ever for this fight i will be ready" and then "o i took him lightly had five injuries and drank beer while hitting a speedbag one handed for 3 hours a day"

one way or the other he lied, thats why i never listen to a word that comes out of a fighter's mouth nowadays, just shut up and get in the ring

Yes I have seen Shogun outside of the UFC and IMO excuses are never warranted; I dont want to hear about how they didnt train hard enough and what not b/c ultimately that is just taking credit away from the guy that finished them. I was 1 of the people that thought Shogun was going to destroy Forrest judging from his previous fights. I believe Forrest made him look the worst he ever has and beat him, no excuses are acceptable IMO.....

I really don't care what Shogun has to say honestly.

He lost.

Forrest I think summed it up best in the post fight UFC PResser when asked how he beat Shogun FOrrest replied:

"I'm just bigger than him."

That's really IMO what the difference was.

Ufc & Pride fans kinda like Chevy and Ford fans they will never see anything good about the other side Pride fighters not as good as Ufc vise/verse bla bla bla bla.Why would he go into a fight with an injury or make excuses why he lost its pretty simple the money he made in this 15 min fight is more than most of us make in a year. And dont give me that hes a professoinal he souldent have fought if he was not 100% he did exactly what anyone else woould have done he took the money. He got his a## handed to him and he admitts it. I totally agree with what you say

He admits he didnt give it his full effort. He said he learned a lesson and will be prepared for his next fight. If you read between the lines and the transation, it sounds like he took Forrest lightly and paid the price. Why is everyone jumping all over the guy.

Yeah, that was funny.
I can understand Forrest's reaction though.

The ref had just whined about him supposedly grabbing the fence, then Shogun elbows him in the face, and I'm sure the Chute Boxe-guys were taunting him... "just STFU".

He did apologize to them later on too.

You can't win with Internet gossip If you never tell someone of your Injuries like Chuck people just say he Is too old and didn't train enough then Dana white comes out to tell the Internet and Radio world he had a Injury , Then It turns Into well Its good he didn't make excuses but he still sucked In that fight and had a belly LOL . now a guy had a blown Knee and people call him a giant Pu ssy for telling a reporter about It . Worst problem I find with these new fans who type 60 words a second and play alot of Chess Is that they congradulate themselfs for being a fan of a winning fighter and are dissgusted with a fighter that loses .

Anyways bottom line was Shogun didn't train enough and his cardio was pathetic , he makes alot of freakin money so no excuses at this level for lack of cardio . he will be back he Is a monster
