This is MMA, not a beauty pageant.
Being big has both its advantages and disadvantages.
What matters is how he does in against top fighters.
Yeah, he has the reach and it's a big help. He also has the chin, the KO power and possibly some ground skills as well since he didn't get utterly embarrassed by Monson once the fight hit the ground.

I'm no fan of his either, but he clearly belongs in the UFC.
