I didnt read anything in that article that was arrogant. So he wants to know who is opponent is , big deal. Seems to me like he is taking MMA quite seriously and is also taking his training quite seriously. All this Lesnar hate around here is making me sick.

He made the first string, played some preseason and in particular against the Chiefs he knocked out their QB. Then he was cut after he had a motorcycle accident and couldn't make practices so he quit football altogether though the Vikings wanted him for their wrold squad. He's a legit world-calss athlete. He'll be a legit MMA fighter too. What do all the BJJ guys say about hips? Check out this video of Brock's training. Pay attention to him doing the sit-outs. Very impressive for a man 6'5" and 300lbs.

His skill level to fight should not be questioned. But rather his lack of experience, which some fighters aren't hindered by.

The first part is wrong. Hendo was an olympic wrestler and Randy was an olympic alternate. Brock is an awesome wrestler, but not the best. The second part I do agree with.

I don't know if it is more arrogant... but it IS definitely funnier when I substitute in Rickey Henderson's name.

“It boils down to they’re really the only company on the block and on the planet that is willing to take Rickey Henderson to the next level,” said Henderson. “I think it works good for both the UFC and Rickey Henderson. For Rickey Henderson it was quite easy."
|
And for the record... this is Rickey writing on behalf of Rickey.

Haha makes you sick eh? Maybe you shouldnt be so sensitive
I think we should get used to this kind of stuff because Lesnar's attitude is unlikely to change.
As for how far he will get - nobody can say yet. We havnt really seen his striking yet or how good his sub/sub defence is yet.

Thanks for the info, Grrrrrr
I wasn't sure what he was gonna do with that log...was hoping for a log roll over water. That would've been challenging too.

I disagree with your assumption that acquiring an Olympic medal makes you a better wrestler. Not all highly skilled athletes pursue Olympic gold. I'm positive had Brock pursued an Olympic medal, he would have a gold one already. His wrestling skills are phenomenal.
In collegiate wrestling, Brock would eat Randy for breakfast.

There are extremely fast runners who play football in the NFL and Rugby that have not pursued Olympic gold.
I'm sure that if Brock didn't start a career in the WWE, he would may have pursued Olympic gold. But he didn't. And that doesn't mean he's not a great collegiate wrestler. His wrestling record should speak volumes to doubters..

Not necessarily. As far as collegiate wrestling goes, Brock was more accomplished than both Randy and Dan by far.

There's a big difference IMO.
Tito and T.O. have talent.

I don't care what the background is of fighters, i just want to see the best fighters in the World in the UFC and if they come from the WWE then so be it.
As it happens Brock Lesnar will be the UFC HW Champion within two years.
Mark my words.

Dana is going to feed Brock some lower level fighters for his first couple fights I am sure. With a little experience I think he could beat a guy like Sylvia but that someone like AA or CC would KO him very fast.

I think Lesnar is in for some trouble. He is a big athletic man, but he has been fighting in the world of professional wrestling, which isn't real.
