It is supposed to be a co-main event. So let's just hope they can find somebody to fill the main event spot.

With the way it is shaping up we'll be seeing Rick Flair vs. Kenny Florian.

I just dont see Brock winning this. Unless he is leaps and bounds ahead of the curve I dont see him making it out the 1st round with his arm.

Brock will probably bring a few wrestling fans, and that's great for the UFC and that particular card. After Mir cleans-up shop on Lesnar in round one via submission, the UFC will be hoping that the entire card was decent enough to convert a few of those Brock fans into UFC fans. If Lesnar does beat Mir, hopefully he'll face Arlovksi so we can see Arlovski school his arse.

Bisping/Hamill sure looked cooked to me.

I no longer trust the UFC to run clean promotions. Mir should win by submission, but I will not be surprised if Brock wins. And I will not be surprised if that is just how UFC planned it. Who will bring more new viewers to the UFC? Brock or Mir. I think we know the answer to that.
I will not be buying any more UFC PPV because I no longer trust the integrity of the organization. I will watch the "free fights" on TV just to keep an eye on what's happening. I think anyone who bets real money on UFC fights is nuts.

I agree with you. The UFC's main concern is money and if the sport is not enough, there are ways to make the extra buck by creating ghost superstars such as Lesnar.
Dana White is a JOKE. He bashes the arguably best fighter ever to fight in mma (Fedor, anyone?), and then he pretends to make up for not signing him by bringing an mma baby, who has proven nothing. CIRCUS, CIRCUS, CIRCUS... No more PPVs for me either. RIP UFC

They're really going to notice and miss your support. Way to kick 'em where it hurts.

Dodgey judging doesn't guarantee a UFC conspiracy. Now if Liddell had "won" the fight against Jardine, then I'd certainly support your conspiracy theory.
I think you guys will come back around

And that's because you say so, you witty grasshopper. We two little pussycats, or aren't we?
That's exactly the mentality that will bring the UFC (your organization) down and I am glad you are adopting it. It is just a first step in the right direction: democratization of the sport or death altogether.

....anyway.
I'm surprised at how few people think Lesnar will win. And at how many people want him to lose. I feel the same way, though. I'll be hoping for Mir. I always liked Mir, but he hasn't been too impressive lately.

I think you're kooky if you want the UFC to fail. After all they've done for this sport and the fans, this is the thanks I -- sorry, they get.

i think Mir has the skills to easily submit Lesnar if he makes a mistake. Seeing how Lesnar is essentially a rookie to MMA he could very well do that, all it takes is one and Mir will have him tapping. Too bad the Mir we've seen recently has been so inconsistent. Both in conditioning and his skills. He should hope Brock looks for the takedown so he can work from his back. in the times when Mir looked good he had a surprising quick game from the guard. His armbar against Tim was a thing of beauty. I would like to see Mir win. As it will be horrible to have to listen to the wave of people jumping on Brock's bandwagon. Fight Forum will be flooded by WWE fans looking to represent thier man. Of course Brock has the ability physically. Has he improved enough skillwise beyond wrestling?

even Hughes had to learn a whole lot of new skills. His wrestling no doubt helped him but he would'nt have had the continued success he's experienced had he not cross trained in BJJ and striking. You also have to consider that Hughes entry into the sport took place many years ago when the level of competition was not so high. Mir is the real deal on the ground, its his lack of conditioning that has been his weakness. Brock on the other hand is all wrestling with limited exposure to BJJ. Mir should be able to exploit that by using set ups. Make Brock move into positions that favor Mir.

He said IF the ufc was fixing fights , Franklin WOULD have beat Silva. Perhaps you should learn to read before calling people names.
