Default UFC -What Music Would You Pick?

Sorry please indulge me here.

I have just got in from seeing the Sex Pistols at the Brixton Academy (famous music venue in London).

It was such a good gig it got me thinking.

If I was fighting in the UFC abd could choose which tune to walk to the Octagon to what would it be

Mama said knock you out-LL Cool J is to obviuos so what would it be?

God Save The Queen-The Sex Pistols
California Uber Alles-The Dead Kennedys
Smells Like Teen Spirit-Nirvana
Ghost Rider-Suicide

Obviously im an old punk but what about the rest of you?

I'm willing to bet that this has been done before but I'll bite.

I'd probably go with Eyeless - Slipknot.

Gets me pretty hyped.

Bas Rutten: Why's he getting the standing 8-Count?
Stephen Quadros: Well, he's getting his ass kicked.

Holy hell! I would have killed to see the Pistols!! I'm a huge punk rock fan myself, good to see we still exist I'm big into hardcore punk too, not the overly "metal" ( I do like metal as well, but not diluting my hardcore ) or whiney stuff, I prefer along the lines of Black Flag, Kill Your Idols, Ignite etc...

It's funny you mention this. On the way to BJJ I was listening to Ignite and was thinking to myself that I'd come down the ramp to a few of their tunes. I'd have to say "Strength" or "Bullets Included no Thought Required", both by Ignite. I reccomend you all check 'em out, perfect pre fight pump up tunes!

sorry to take this post away from the original subject-Which I am still VERY INTERESTED IN. but mate I have a ticket to see the Pistols again tomorrow night!!!!!! Also I am going to see the Buzzcocks who are supported by Chelse a and Subway Sect on the 30th November.!!!!

I like quite a lot of American Hardcore.(I do know that a very good friend of mine had an altercation with a certain Jimmy Gestapo in Manitoba's Bar in NYC a few years ago and sat him on his arse!!-My pal was in NYC and looking after a very well known English Bassist who plays with both UK and USA Punk bands but whose name I will not mention on here)

Long Live Punk.

Still would love to walk into the Octagon with some Black Flag or Dead Kennedys-How about there cover of Viva Las Vegas if you where fighting there!!!

Tool - Parabola, Stinkfist
Nonpoint - Endure, What a Day
Savatage - Legions
Bad Brains - Soulcraft
Dokken - Mr. Scary
Papa Roach - Dead Cell, Blood Brothers
RATM - Bulls on Parade, Guerrilla Radio,
Disturbed - Fear, Droppin Plates
Vinnie Moore - Meltdown, Earthshaker
Thin Lizzy - Holy War
Black Sabbath - I
Metal Church - Date With Poverty
Metallica - Sad But True, Some Kind of Monster, Harvester of Sorrow
Eric Gales - Sign of the Storm
P.O.D. - Boom
Gary Hoey - Tribal War Babies
Jimi Hendrix - Machine Gun I
Judas Priest - Painkiller
Y & T - Straight Thru The Heart, Hurricane
Vinnie Vincent - Boyz Are Gonna Rock
Mother's Finest - Truth'll Set You Free (might be a good one for Brandon Vera too)
OffSpring - Defy You
Peter Gabriel - The Tower That Ate People (that would mess with people)

I guess even if I just used a different song for each fight I would have to have one hell of a long career to get all these in.

Hahaha. My friends and I were talking about this during the last UFC. In order to get into the mindset of beating the crap out of people for a living, I'd probably have to go with:

Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face

If I were to take a more zen approach to the fight, I'd probably go with chanting performed by the Tibetan Gyuto Monks:

YouTube - Gyuto Monks Harmonic Chanting, Auckland

Right now I would have to go with:

Belly ft. Kurupt - I'm the Man.

It would be a good song to pump me up personally.

Edit: Beware of profanity
