I am sorry but saying that someone had too much pride is an excuse. Matt Hughes is a very knowledgeable fighter at this point (probably comes close to equalling your knowledge base) and lost the fight. Plain and simple. Whether you blame it on technique, pride, or whatever else suits your argument. He lost the fight. Don't make up excuses because he didn't take GSP down like he could all the other previous fighters. Having too much pride is an excuse. Saying that he just wasn't good enough to win is an observation.

he came in with a poor gameplan, because he thought he could strike with GSP. Not an excuse at all. I also did say that GSP would have won that night regardless, it was his night. Saying a fighter came in with a bad gameplan isn't an excuse, it's an observation.

When Diego fought Koz, he came in with a bad gameplan and he payed for it. not an excuse but a fact. Anybody who has been watching MMA/NHB for more than a year would know that.

The problem with you guys is that you only read half the post and not the whole thing.

If you guys wanna see excuses, pull out some threads from after the GSP/Serra fight, then you will understand the differance.

Well I have to disagree with ya there. I don't think Diego came in with a bad game plan. He just couldn't do anything against Kos. He tried to take him down but didn't like eating punches. It was either play it safe and stay on the outside or get knocked out by trying to take him down. There just wasn't much he could do.

If we can't intelligently analyze fights, then whats the point of coming here?

The problem with these guys is that they can't look at anything objectively and aren't capable of discussing a fight without flaming people who have opposing viewpoints.

Pitbull, Why don't you intelligently debate me?

You scared of Tony Starks?

I'm calling you out!!!

You obviously didn't watch the fight, so there is no use discussing anything with you.

When you can look at things objectively, than step up to the big leagues and debate me.

1) He doesn't understand who you were replying to
2) Doesn't understand why you would constantly be pissed off on the internet, so he probably thinks you're being sarcastic.
3) He has no clue who you're quoting, and who you are debating

Or maybe Elder just found your reason to get so pissed off funny.

I'd like to think its the latter, but you may wanna clear up the first 3 for me.

I can see why there are so many threads around here asking, "why is FF falling apart?"

It's because the supposed respected members act like little children for the most part, and are unable to debate, but rather try to annoy and get under the skin of people who intelligently present an opposing viewpoint.

You are the internet *****, my friend, not me.

If you find my arguments full of holes, get in on it.

I got time.
