Hughes is bumming. He had a decent shot against Serra but GSP is going to destroy him. Hughes can't be happy with this.

This is an amazing matchup.

I want Hughes to win,not sure if he will or not? As some people think GSP is the next coming of christ in the WW division he should still easily beat Matt with 5 weeks notice. If he loses,it's just that Matt was better.

If the timescale for getting ready was such an issue,Mr Emotional shouldnt have taken the fight in such short notice!

See that's the problem, some of you guys can't handle the fact that people disagree with your oppinions, so you label them a *****, flame them and try to alienate them.

You guys can say what you want about some of my other posts, but in this particular one, i am making solid arguments and backing them up with facts and reasoning. All I am getting in return is flames, childish insults and speculation.

I think he would have said no thanks Dana if he didnt want to. Gsp is coming off a devastating loss to Serra (yeah he beat Kos) so Matts best time to strike psychologically is now.

Is it my fault FF is falling apart? Ban me then. Not used the word *****, b level fighter or can. How does King know Matt is bumming? He doesn't so i disagreed with him. Whenever i disagree with somebody on here or in the real world i tell them.

I think he was agreeing with my post, and wasn't aiming his response at yours, you guys probably hit submit at the same time.

you are not a ***** as far as I can see, but around here, some of the "respected guys" might think so unless you choose to follow the herd like a mindless drone.

See, some of these longtime guys, can't fathom that somebody could actually disagree with them, don't you see thier high post counts and cool sigs, they must know what they are talking about

I might be fairly new around around here, but I garauntee that I know tons more than 99% of these supposed "repected,long time" members.

Just because I have only been posting here for a couple of months doesn't mean that I have been around MMA for a couple of months.

OMG I just barely got on today and read this thread!!!! This is some really good news. Instead of getting one less great fight; we get an even better fight. I really want Hughes to win, but I just don't know if he can. After seeing GSP take down Kos, and avoid most of the take downs; I just don't know if Hughes can get him down. IF he gets him down it will be just as difficult to keep him down. Hughes has a better chance than anyone in the WW division at beating GSP so it is still a very interesting fight. I think that if Hughes is going to win it will be by either
A. Submission
B. Decision
C. GnP stoppage

I'm hoping that Hughes will win, but it is almost stupid to bet against GSP in this.

I gave up reading this thread because of all the arguing.

But anyway, I think this is a 50 50 fight. We forget that GSP didn't have much time to train and his cardio will not be 100 percent. For Hughes to win he needs to push pace, keep gsp against the fence, try not to get knocked out and tire out GSP.
