UFC's judgment call on 79 and TUF Finale???

Production is nice but if a small org puts on some killer fights and exciting fighters are in the shows then they will succeed. The production is like a nice paintjob on a race car. Looks good but has nothing to do with the race.

i disagree completely... what about pride?? actually, what about EVERY organization except the UFC... amazing fights for the most part, yet with awful production doesnt appeal to the masses...

production is everything, it makes most poeple think a bad show was ok, and a good show is great

If Pride had the UFC's production. I think it would have passed it lol

The UFC doesn't even come close to Pride's production talents, how can you call it awful??

I have to disagree. I thought Pride had some awsome fights but they didnt have very good camera angles and I dint really dig the commentating. It just didnt come out on my TV like a professional show. It was kind of like watching amature bouts with awsome fights when you compare it to the UFC IMO.

yeah... so i am going to go with PrideFC is to WWF PPV as UFC is to WWF House show. Fighters coming out of some skeazy gym entrance way with music playing at real low quality as pride has this huge ramp and made each fighter feel important.

I have often complained about PRIDE's crappy camera work and bad sound engineering. I could care less about the fancy ring entrances or the triple redundant ring announcers screaming out badly pronounced names. I don't give a damn about Titantrons and fireworks entrances. The show is in the ring or the octagon, not out on the entrance ramp. PRIDE had a lot of bad camera work. It really has annoyed me quite often when I would watch.
