Diego Sanchez vs Nick Diaz

When is the fight going to be and is it going to be on Spike T.V.?
I saw it once here but forgot which thread it was on.

Can someone tell me???

Also I think Diaz will win by decision.

If I remember correctly, it will be on the TUF II Finals card on Spike.

That will be a sweet fight. Diaz has the reach, but Sanchez has more heart IMO. Sanchez via submission.

It's supposed to be on November 5th as part of The Ultimate Fighter 2 Finale. I should imagine it will be on Spike T.V. but I'm not 100% sure about that.

I am looking forward to this fight. Personally I think Diaz will win, but I wouldn't mind if Sanchez won and actually proved to his doubters that he can beat top UFC opposition.

Diaz will own Diego. The only thing I see Diego doing that Nick doesn't want him to do is hold him down. Not gonna out strike Diaz, and Diaz's BJJ is better than Diego's. Diaz has been tested, and well Diego is still being tested.

Should be a good one either way though, if Diego can win I would be very impressed. I also feel that win or lose Diego will grow a lot as a fighter training for someone like Diaz.

Agreed. Diego's striking compared to Diaz is like comparing me to Chuck Liddell. Diaz is faster, a better striker and just all around a more rounded fighter. Diego will be able to take him down no doubt but he won't be able to control him on the ground. Call me a Diego hater if you want but I'm just not impressed. I don't care if he is undefeated. If he gets a convincing win over Diaz then I will be impressed.

I think Diaz will win this fight. If Sanchez can pull off a win against diaz he will prove to me he is the real deal.

Thank God, after November 5th Diego will no longer be undefeated. Diaz is going to make him look like a little lost child in the Octagon...........I hope he puts a fist right straight into Diego's mug. Shut him up once and for all............

I need to add one more thing. Sanchez has done the live t.v. fight before and fought just the same with no affect on his performance. As far as I know, this will be a 1rst for Diaz. The only way Diaz could lose to Sanchez, is if Diaz cracks under the pressure of the live fight. He's still a young guy, so I don't think he will pull a Ivan S. and choke. But its a possiability. Go Diaz, "I hope you push Diego's face out of the back of his skull."

I doubt that will happen. There is more to the Ivan thing. He was mentally a mess before that fight. I think it mainly had to do with Dana not letting Tito sponsor him or corner him all that other stupid immature stuff that was going on. I seriously lost a lot of respect for Dana because of that and then cutting the guy after the fight. Quarry wouldn't be getting this shot if Ivan had won. That seems awfully strange to me. I guess if Dana does the same thing that he did to Ivan than we could see Diego pull it off.
