Exactly, I will probably bet on McCarthy simply b/c the odds will be nice and he has a slight chance of slipping a sub in but I dont really believe that will happen b/c I think Bisping will be too strong for him.

To me a very interesting fight for Bisping at MW would be Patrick Cote, so I hope he wins this fight to set up a possible match w/ him.....

I kinda like that they're giving Bisping a "can" for his first fight, for a combination of two reasons. He lost his last fight and he's making the biggest weight drop you can make for one division (20lbs). There's really no way to know what he'll look like at this weight, so putting him in there against someone like Cote could be a disaster. Bisping might take a fight or two to adjust to the speed of the middleweights.

This is what I think is funny about the whole thing. I hate Michael Bisping as a LHW. I didn't like his cocky attitude, his unearned acclaim, or the obvious writing on the wall that this guy clearly wasn't in the same league as Griffin, Hua, Jardine, Rampage, Liddell, Machida, etc.

But I LOVE Michael Bisping as a MW. he'll be an enormous MW, he should have the chin to take some punches from Silva, and he should be big enough to not get thrown around by Franklin or Okami. He's really ripe to be a top contender in this division. Maybe he can start earning some of that pub he's been getting.

Captain Miserable did not really fair well on his season of Tuf. This should be an easy fight for bisping, unless he gets him on the ground. The count by KO.
