Wow this is a real dissapointment. Was really hoping to see AA against a bigger name.
Werdum is getting a title shot, and AA is getting Obrien.

I just cant see him taking AA down but I can see very clearly AA knocking Jake O'Brien out and I believe it will happen in the 1st round if they do indeed fight.....

I hope AA wins!! I think the UFC should keep him. The HW division seems to be getting weaker with recent events. (Randy out, Crocop not the Crocop of old, etc)

For sure! I can definately see AA knocking O'Brien out cold. But O'Brien does look sharp in his take downs.
I just really want to see AA's Sambo again..

that does seem a bit odd at first, but i dont think either of them should be rewarded anything after their fight with each other. since then arlovski hasnt fought anyone, and werdum beat gonzaga who i have been claiming as the best heavyweight in the world for a long time, so i dont think its overly unfair. i would be more annoyed if i were kongo to be honest. but he'll get his shot after he beats herring i suppose.

I don't see a need for AA to be conservative. He's much better than O'Brien standing and on the ground.

I'm very glad to hear that Andrei is fighting again! In a way I'm glad it isn't against one of the 'bigger' names, because after his last performance and the way the UFC has been with him - another loss could be the end for Arlovski. I fully expect him to cruise the fight with O'Brien, I give the the edge on the ground with his Sambo skills, and a huge advantage in the stand-up.
Getting a win under his belt could be just what he needs to put a good run together. If he does, he could be a real contender for the title, given the state of the division right now lol.
They can still sell this fight, given they'll be playing on the fact that Jake is still undefeated, I believe he's is 10-0 overall or something similar. The only fighter of note he has defeated is Herring, but undefeated is undefeated lol. Also the fact that this could be make or break for AA, and they still have a marketable fight.
War Arlovski!

Official Jake O'Brien Bandwagon Thread!!!!
Hop on board folks there is plenty of room on this train, but mark my words it's going to fill up fast!!! After Jake O'Brien dismantles Andrei Arlovski at UFC 82, you guys are going to know what I already know, that Jake O'Brien is the real deal and is future UFC HW Championship material. I don't think Arlovski will have any answer for Jake's superior wrestling and GnP. He made Heath Herring look like an amature on the ground and showed that he had a chin that is 2nd to only Mark Hunt's in that fight. I predict that Jake will take Arlovski down at will and finish him via GnP late in the 2nd round.
After O'Brien sends Andrei packing to one of the lesser organizations, Dana will surely give him his much deserved crack at Big Nog's HW belt. I know Nog is a true warrior and one hell of a fighter, (I have seen every one of his fights I should know), but Jake O'Brien will be his biggest test to date and I feel that it is one that even Nog won't be able to pass. Jake's wrestling is just too damn good and he is crafty enough to avoid a sub from Big Nog. I'm not saying that he will finish Nog, because that is hard to do, but I am very confident that O'Brien will do enough to win via UD.
Jake will be the HW champ inside of 1 year, I have a great eye for talent and this kid is loaded with it. The rest of the HW division better watch out because Jake O'Brien is coming for all of them.
All aboard the Jake O'Brien Train!! First Stop Arlovski, Next Stop Big Nog and The Championship!!! Make sure to buckle your seatbelts because Tony Starks is driving!!!!
1-2-3 NHB!!!!!
