10k point contest
Ok...here is how it goes. Let us know how you think the Swick/Burkman fight will go. Of course give us who you think will win and method but be more specific. Give a round by round breakdown as if you were viewing the fight. Be as specific as you can without writing a book.
Whoever gives the breakdown the closest to the actual fight will win the prize.

Round 1: Swick and Burkman circle, inside the first minute Burkman goes for a takedown but Swick avoids. Swick comes forward and lands a combination that hurts Burkman. Burkman desperately looking for the takedown but Swick tags him with more shots, dropping Burkman. Swick wins by late round 1 TKO.
If somehow I win this, let the points go to the runner up please. =)

ROUND 1: Fighters touch gloves. Swick immediately initiates a Muy Thai clinch with Burkman. Both men look deep into each others eyes. Swick bats his eyelashes. Burkman displays his sultry, pouty lips. The clinch evolves into a warm embrace. Cue the theme from 'Brokeback Mountain'. Swick wins by K.O. around the four minute mark... then lights a cigarette.

Mike "Quick" Swick gets a healthy round of applause from the crowd, as does Burkman.
Round 1: They both come out and in a show of respect, they touch gloves. Swick swings and connects with a solid right. Burkman shakes it off and goes for a takedown, doesn't get it. He gets up and immediately gets hit with a straight left. Burkman with a solid low kick. Burkman shoots in for another takedown, Swick sprawls backwards, but Burkman won't let go of his left leg as they work along the fence. Swick connects with an uppercut and follows with a left, right and Burkman is dazed. Is that a cut above Josh's eye? Round one to Swick.
Round 2: The welterweight Swick opens with a quick jab, then a right to the stomach. Burkman tries to get in close, but Swick gets a knee up and pushes him off. Burkman misses a wild uppercut. Swick connects with a right. Burkman counters...both fighters are trading big shots now. Swick gets the better of the exchange and drops Burkman along the fence. Left, right, left....it's over for The People's Warrior.
Winner by TKO...Mike "Quick" Swiiiiiiick

Rd1. Swick comes out fast and hard wobbling Josh with some good shots. Its a dominate first round by Swick, landing punch after punch.
Rd2. They come out, Swick starts again with accurate powerful shots. Looks as if this will be a short fight. In the middle of round 2 Josh lands a hard right and drops Swick. Josh follows up with a few shots and then the ref steps in.
Winner by TKO Josh Burkman.
LOL I'll die if this happens as half my points are on Swick.

Mike Swick by KO at around 1:30 of the first round. Up to that point there is the standard feeling out process until Swick decides to close the distance and catches Burkman during the first real exhange. Swick has something to prove so i don't see this going the full 3 rounds.

I'm thinking its a 3 round war with 2 rounds going to Swick and 1 to Burkman. The first 2 rounds are going too be all Mike Swick he is going to get takedowns and win on the feet. I think Mike will gas in the 3rd round but still win a decision.

This is my answer to a T.
Sike my answer "Punches in Bunches". Swick overwelms Burkman, cause he is quicker. Swick TKO's Burkman within the first two minutes of the 1st rd. Burkman doesn't ven touch Swick. Now that's my answer lol. For real, it is.

I protest. What we saw last night was much closer to the cuddle-fest that I predicted than a fight.
