Penn vs Sherk
I think Sherks only hope is if BJ gasses out.

If BJ comes in healthy and in the same shape as last time he's gonna steam roll Sherk.

I think Sherk will be too overhwhelming on the ground but I'm not sure about him finishing. I think he will crank out another decision. I do think if it stays standing Sherk will be in trouble because he didn't look to great on the feet in the Franca fight, and BJ is a technical striker. This looks like an awesome figh either way, and a hard one to call.

If BJ can stop Hughes' takedowns, I think he can can stop Sherks.

Sherk's only hope is to time his "Cycles" properly this time.
On another note, or maybe not, BJ looked to be in amazing shape. Best ever.

Penn is my favorite fighter, but to say anyone at 155 is going to steam roll sherk is ridiculous.

By steamroll I meant that he will control the fight and end it like he did vs Stevenson.

Penn has better stand-up, so if the fight stays standing Penn will have the advantage. Penn has great takedown defense, but Sherk is very good at taking people down so it will be interesting to see if Sherk will be able to get Penn down. Even if Sherk does get Penn to the ground, Penn has great BJJ and can easily pull off a submission from his back. Sherk's main advantage other then his brute strength is his cardio. If the fight goes past the third round, Sherk will have the advantage. I'm leaning more towards Penn in this fight, but I could easily see it going in Sherk's favor as well. However it ends, it should be a great fight.

If BJ is in shape, BJ wins.
If BJ is not in shape, Sherk wins.

I can't call this fight. It is really hard. I would have to go with a Sherk though. He has never been submitted so it will still be extremely hard for even BJ to submit him. He has fought some guys who are pretty good at subs. Kenny Florian, Nick Diaz, Matt Hughes, Karo, and Jutaro. He has beat Karo twice which is pretty impressive. I think that his take downs have gotten much better sense his comeback. I think he will be able to take down BJ and keep him down. I think he can avoid the sub for a UD

I hope BJ is on the treadmill right now...I used to be a Sherk fan but I was disgusted with him in the booth during the PPV. I really hope Penn takes this one.

BJ:"Sean Sherk, your dead". Can you trashtalk more than that?
And then he gets back the mic and stop trashtalk and says "Its gonna be a good fight".
I don't like both figthers but I think BJ would win.

If BJ is in the same shape as he was for Pulver and Joe, then I think he'll win.
IMO Sherk's only way to win is to lnp on BJ and I cant see that happening for 5 rounds. Matt Hughes had trouble taking and keeping BJ down in their 2nd fight before BJ separated a rib, and he's a lot bigger than Sherk.

From watching both of these guys fight I can see the majority of this fight on the ground w/ Sherk on top holding BJ down more than anything w/o doing too much damage. I can also see BJ submitting Sherk for his 1st loss in that manner. I am going to say BJ win via triangle choke from his back.....

Going with Sherk in this one, but it could really go either way.
Sherk is a beast, and i dont think Penn can keep up with Sherks pace for 5 rounds. We say that BJ is in great shape and that his cardio is better then ever, but that is good compared to old BJ. Sherks Cardio is probably among the best in all of MMA. I think Sherk is gonna put on a furious pace and BJ wont be able to withstand that for 5 rounds.
Sherk by UD.
