UFC 81 Commercial
Anyone see the latest commercial for UFC 81?
The commercial focuses solely on Brock Lesnar vs Frank Mir. No mention whatsoever of Sylvia or Nog.
I'd be pissed if I were Big Nog. He's in the main event and has gotten practically zero PR from the UFC.

I don't think I'll ever jump on the Brock Lesnar bandwagon.
Have you guys heard his interviews?

I agree w/ Pitbull. I don't think I'll ever jump on the Lesner bandwagon. I do think that commercial sucks though.

I'm looking forward to see how he reacts to getting punched in the face. He probably doesn't have to worry about that as much with Mir but guys like Sylvia, Nog and Mirko will hurt him I think. Maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, what does it say about Mir that he isn't the favorite in this fight?
On a side note I noticed that Emerson is fighting. I couldn't believe his nickname is "The Saint"  I hope he gets crushed and we never hear from him again. |

This is by far the best commercial for UFC to ever display in this situtation.
They have a WWE guy, a big named one at that, fighting in the UFC. This is by far one of the best chances to get new people into watching the UFC. Only hardcore people know Big Nog. Casual UFC person doesn't even know who Big Nog is. Screw Syvlia.
This is marketing and time to gain a lot more fans from the WWE culture.

I've seen it listed both ways. On UFC 81: Breaking Point Official Site it lists the Mir vs Lesnar fight as no.1
I think they may be hedging their bets on this one and trying it both ways.
Also having seen the interviews of Mir and Lesnar on the official site, I've got to say Lesnar came across really well, quite likeable. (I haven't seen any WWE matches so I have no preconceptions about him).
