Jardine should be fighting Wand next, with Chuck facing Shogun, since everyone else is tied up until June.

Hell id like to see Liddell/Gouveia, Shogun/Jardine, Wand/Lambert before Jardine/Chuck 2

So Jardine beats Chuck then gets the guy Chuck just beat? No solution will be perfect but I think that fight makes a little more sence than most on this board. Jardine is kinda getting the Chuck was off and out of shape etc. But now that Chuck beat Wandy and looked good doing it he will get more respect for beating him a possible second time. Plus all the other guys are tied up. Things are looking up though, this winner against the Page/Forest winner, hell even the losers should fight. With hopefully Machada winning after all that too.

Sometimes it isn't about the perfect fight right this second but building good fights 2 to 3 fights away. Plus if they give Jardine a noname and he gets steamrolled....again....where does that leave the poor guy?

Hell, you could run Houston vs Jardine 2 and it would make more sense then Liddell/Jardine 2.

TUF is really screwing this whole thing up. Forrest vs Jardine 2 would have made sense as a #1 contender fight.

Cool

Jardine should fight Wanderlei Silva.

Liddell should fight Lyoto Machida.

That's how I feel.

Then, if Jardine and Liddell each win, maybe a rematch.

Otherwise, if Liddell wins, then he fights the winner of Rampage-Griffin.

The loser of Rampage-Griffin fights Jardine.

After that, then Liddell could rematch Jardine (possibly as a LHW title fight).

If that all happened, sub - where would Jardine and Griffin fit in?

Machida > Soko > Minotoro > Hendo > Wandy > Rampage > Chuck > Wandy...

No no no.

I like Chuck, but UFC needs to get off his nuts and not give him this rematch right now.
There are plenty of interesting match-ups out there for him, why should he get the chance to again "avenge" another loss?

I hope this fight doesn't happen. Chuck can climb back up the ladder, just like anyone else.

LOL, I don't know, but right now Forrest Griffin and Keith Jardine are both good for business. I am sure we will see them fit in somehow. They have each won a big match that most people said they could not win. Imagine if Griffin defeats Rampage!

Wasn't Jardine first introduced on UFC's version of Big Brother House???

Or like how everyone used that same logic to say Chuck would destroy Rampage in the rematch, and then Rampage proceeded to mop the floor with him again? Oh...

Honestly, Jardine had an amazing gameplan for Chuck, hit him more often and choped the **** out of his legs. Chuck didn't land jack **** on him and if Jardine knocks him down again and jumps on him Chuck's in some trouble.

The big difference between Jardine and Wandy was that Jardine waited and struck from the outside when he could with a solid defense, Wandy as we all saw went in and didn't seem to have the range to trade with Chuck and wound up on the bad end of most of the exchanges.

Yeah he did. I really didn't see how that ended in a split decision the first time. Jardine simply out fought him 2 out of the 3 rds, had better game plan Chuck didn't have answers to. I will say it would be a good fight though even though it really doesn't make sense.

Honestly, I don't think Keith is the type of guy to turn down a fight like that... besides, he knows he can beat Chuck now - it's not going to be an easy fight for Chuck just because he looked impressive against Silva.

However, if this match were to be set up, I would sure as hell hope that the UFC gives the winner of that match to the winner of Forrest/Rampage, or else it would really be just a waste of time to have a rematch between Chuck/Keith so soon.

Jardine should be moving on to better things or at least new fights.
When other fighters have rematches it is never an issue, why should it be in this case? As far as "moving on to better things" give the winner of the rematch a title shot for their next fight and that would make it worth Jardine's while IMO. Also, if he beat Chuck a 2nd time then there is no need for a rubber match so he probably wont ever have to fight him again.....

Jardine would own Chuck again, the UFC tries to play it off like "Oh it wasn't the ollllld Chuck" Even when Chuck was coming out Joe Rogan goes "Chuck looks determined" but no after he gets beat that needs to be changed, Jardine through his hands down purposley through out the fight to take Chuck out of his game, Chuck's a counter-puncher and Jardine was making him the agressor of the fight then when Chuck came in BOOM Leg kicks, punches, body kicks! Then Chuck was thinking "Oh my gawd, I was supposed to win! " Chuck vs. Jardine 2? Nah not soon enough, lets see Jardine vs Alexander 2 that would be war!

WAR JARDINE

I believe the "old" reference is more prevelant for the Pride guys. I wish I had a nikel for everytime I have heard the "old" Shogun, "old" Wandy, or the "old" Cro-cop.....

I hope Jardine accepts the fight, but I don't really blame him if he doesn't. I mean, he already beat Chuck so he has nothing to gain by fighting him again. He would however have a lot to lose if he fights him again and losses. It would kind of negate his win over him in the first fight.

As much as I love to watch Chuck fight, I don't think it's fair on Jardine to make them rematch so soon. Jardine should move up and fight someone else - I would like to see Jardine vs Shogun next.

Cool

Chuck Liddell has a history of rematching opponents that he has lost to, so it would not surprise me if he had a rematch with Keith Jardine.
