That's a load of B.S - they should put Sanchez/Bielkheden (whoever that is) on the undercard, and put Andrei up top... or even Koscheck/Hazelett for that matter. Arlovski and O'Brien both won their last fights... c'mon!

Dont quote me on this, but I believe the past 2 pay-per view events have aired 8 of the 9 fights. Just depends on how the fights go and how much time they have I guess. But we will see, I wouldnt be suprised if we didnt see AA fight, with the possibility of him leaving I dont see the UFC marketing him more than they have to.

I just read that on MMAweekly. WTF!!! How can you not have Andrei Arlovski on the Main Card? I'd much rather see that than half the other fights on the card.

This proves one thing...that the people who made this decision are mentally retarded.

The way UFC is treating AA is really starting to get on my nerves.

That does suck. I want to see all of these fights though. Well, except for the John Halverson vs. Jorge Gurgel. I guess I could skip that one.

They treated him like a king, then he lost some fights and got very boring. Now he has been in the last fight of his contract for a while and of course they are not going to have him on the main card, it would be silly to. The Hazlett fight should be on more than the Sanchez and Fitch vs unknowns but they are 'stars' so they need to be on the main card. People bitch about bad cards now bitch about too stacked cards....man I would hate to be a boss to any of you guys lol.

Unless Arlovski gets his contract renewed, his fight will remain on the undercard. It's just not smart for the UFC to promote Arlovski if he is going to be leaving the UFC.

It's looks like i am the only one, but i can agreed with the choice not to put him on the main card. And if he wins the next one will probely be on the main card. So yeah, i can understand.

And the UFC always tries to hype Diego. That isn't something new.

They should take off the Sanchez fight, and put Kos/Hazelett instead.

But actually, I want to see all of these fights anyways, as even all the undercard fights (maybe except Gurgel's fight) look good.

The card is indeed very stacked. Im pretty sure that they will show the AA match, i mean they almost always have time to show some of the prelim. But as many already pointed out, you really want to see them all for this card is really good.

Its a sure fightnight with the boys and some beer

Default Leben v. Sakara...NOT Arlovski v. O'Brien

is on the televised card at UFC 82...replacing the Diego fight.

Yet another dig at Arlovski. I could be wrong but I'm thinking most fans wanna see Arlovski. Personally, I'd put the Cummo fight on TV but that's just me. Who knows, maybe they'll show all of 'em.

Quote:
A once-rumored middleweight bout between Alessio Sakara (12-6 MMA, 3-3 UFC) and Chris Leben (17-4 MMA, 7-3 UFC) has been signed and announced by the UFC, and it’ll appear on the televised UFC 82 main card, bumping a David Bielkheden vs. Diego Sanchez fight to the night’s un-televised preliminary card.

The UFC today confirmed the bout on its official website.

UFC 82 takes place March 1 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva meets Dan Henderson in the night’s main event.

MMAjunkie.com (UFC News & Rumors - MMA News - UFC Fighters - UFC Event Recaps and Previews - MMAjunkie.com) first passed along news of the Leben-Sakara bout early last week. UFC 82 now boasts 10 total bouts rather than the usual nine.

With Leben vs. Sakara now promised TV time, three major names in the organization will be stuck on the un-televised preliminary card: Andrei Arlovski, Josh Koscheck and Diego Sanchez.

Leben, who earned his way into the UFC through the first season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” snapped a two-fight losing streak (to Jason MacDonald and Kalib Starnes) with a September victory over Terry Martin. In the televised fight, Leben was on the verge of being knocked out himself. After eating a series of punches, his legs began to wobble, and Leben began to stumble in the third round. However, with just a minute to go in the fight, he cracked Martin with a left hook for the KO.

“The Crippler” will now take on Sakara, who’s won two his past three fights. Sakara, a former light heavyweight who will make his debut at middleweight, defeated Victor Valimaki with a first-round TKO at UFC 70 before suffering a 61-second TKO to Houston Alexander at UFC 75. Back in January, though, Sakara disposed of James Lee in just 90 seconds at UFC 80 to push his UFC record to 3-3.

The full UFC 82 card now includes:

MAIN CARD (Televised)

* Champ Anderson Silva vs. Dan Henderson (for middleweight title)
* Heath Herring vs. Cheick Kongo
* Chris Leben vs. Alessio Sakara
* Yushin Okami vs. Evan Tanner
* Jon Fitch vs. Chris Wilson

PRELIMINARY CARD (Un-televised)

* Andrei Arlovski vs. Jake O’Brien
* Luke Cummo vs. Luigi Fioravanti
* Dustin Hazelett vs. Josh Koscheck
* David Bielkheden vs. Diego Sanchez
* Jorge Gurgel vs. John Halverson

Irritating. Arlovski's a former champ and they treat him like dirt for no good reason. His "boring" fights were way less boring than Tim's were, and the fans actually like Arlovski. Yet Sylvia gets still gets title shots and televised bouts. Go figure.

Thats odd. I don't know why they wouldn't televise the Arlovski vs. O'Brien. It should be a great fight.
