I was just watching Spike Tv and I saw a promo ad for UFC 82 and it was showing the highlights of the fighters and showed Keith Jardine and said he was fighting at UFC 82. I just thought that was funny and a pretty big screw up.

But that's not's rumored to be happening until May/June....I'm confused.
That would be a monster fight to add to the 82 card...but why hide it?
There's no official mention of it anywhere so far....

Ok, was I drunk last night during the WEC. When the commercial for UFC 82 came up didn't they say that Jardine was in it? I don't see Jardine on the card??

I haven't seen the ad, but someone mentioned in another thread that it aired again during the WEC event. Now, I work in corporate video (marketing, etc.) and this is way beyond a minor mistake.

People in my industry lose their jobs over spelling mistakes or incorrect video levels, so this continued error seems unbelievable to me...

Either someone f*cked up and hasn't corrected the problem orJardine is fighting at 82 and this is some Cloverfield-type viral marketing.

edit: Or they're using UFC 82 as the platform to announce Jardine vs. Wanderlei Silva.

The ad that I saw last night made no mention of Jardine...so I'm guessing it was a major F-up by someone.
