Trust.
Of course a CroCop fan would say that.
But us logical folk take Nog over CroCop,world hunger,Aids, and the blair witch.

PS- Tito Ortiz is 5x the fighter that Big Nog and Frank Mir are... if they ever fought Tito would dig a grave and KTFO out of both of them with only his left hand.

What Kongo said really isnt that bad. You have to understand sports. Atheletes know whos using in their sport. Im not saying Crocop was using but maybe Kongo feels like he was.

It might be a bit distasful, but it also might be true. The guy is only saying what he thinks. It wasn't regulated over there, those guys paychecks and livelyhoods were on the line, if they thought the other guy was taking them then why not. It wasn't cheating over there. Gasp! how dare he say that he might have done something PERFECTLY LEGAL WHERE HE WAS DOING IT.
It baffels me the stigma involved with 'steroids' in this country. HGH is great, it is fine to take, till the government and or / sport puts a ban on it and calls it steroids. Then guys are cheating and have been the whole time. The fact that Mickey Mantle was drunk all the time fades away cause it was a different time. The fact that MLB was using more amphetamines in the 70's than you could even count fades away because it wasn't on some list. Babe Ruth drunk = funny/legendary, David Wells = moron.

And for the poster that said something like, "If it's legal then why do you have a problem with it???..."
This is why I have a problem with it(and im disagreeing respectfully). Just because it's legal doesnt make it right. Roids can allow a person that is not as good of an athlete become better than the actual athletes. Roids do not go hand in hand with the word SPORT imho.

Wait. This post contradicts itself. Does Kongo really know? Or does Kongo only feel like he knows?

or at least a legal KO with Crocop suing Kongo for slander. Very poor sportsmanship on Kongo's part. Kongo, work on not illegally kneeing someone in the b0ll0cks (twice) before shooting off your mouth! This guy is the king of all low blows (as a previous poster put it).

I am a huge CroCop fan...I was one of those who was supremely stoked about him coming into the UFC and was adamant about the fact that he would soon be kicking heads into the seats and wearing the belt.
That said...His UFC stint was incredibly feeble and disappointing to say the very least. His walking away to pursue "tune up fights" (as the one report stated) is even more disappointing to me. More so than Fedor's last year and a half or so. He simply had nothing for the UFC HWs. Out of his element or not suited for the cage or however you want to say it....He seemed flatout over matched by some less than stellar UFC HWs and it kind of depresses me.
I guess to me...in a very real sense, he is walking away defeated...not pursuing other options in a rival organization. Sucks...but that's the way that it looks to me.

Kongo just beats Cro Cop and now he trows this at him.
A lot of fans/people are not even giving him any credit for his win because of the way it happen(maybe thats why, I don`t know).
I can see Rampage needing an excuse for loosing, but why does anyone need an excuse for winning. Why put somone who are allready down more down?
I`ll go as far to say that its some of the worst thing I can think of as far as sportmanship goes. I really did not expect it from Kongo since I look at him as a gentleman. He might be diffrent then I thought though.
He might also be miss quoted like many people have been before him.
you make a good point. Kongo was very direspectful of a fellow fighter. There is a line you don't cross...and that was it. In sports, there are always unofficial things that you don't do. For example, in the NBA, if one team is up by twenty in the last few minutes, the coach doesn't leave all his starters in...just to run up the score even more. That is desrespectful to the losing team. On another day, "that" winning team will be on the losing end...and won't want to have the other team run up the score.
Basically what goes around comes around. If you respect your fellow fighters in victory or defeat, other fighters will respect you. It's easy to be a "punk", but hard to be a class act.
"I have always said that if you need steroids to compete you are not a fighter. Fighting is all about heart, technique and capitalizing upon your opponents mistakes. It is not about putting something into your body and walking around with big muscles saying look at me. In my book if you are on steroids you are a loser."
