Default Keith Jardine vs Wanderlei Silva in the works?

According to Kevin Iole of Yahoo sports, in response to a fan asking about DEAN OF MEAN, has said Jardine has accepted the terms to fight Silva and is awaiting a response from Silva who is in Brazil. Iole seems to think the fight will happen in May.
This has the potential to be an exciting fight IMO.

Hope this fight happens! Should be exciting.

If Jardine wins he can say that he beat two of the best LHW to ever walk in the ring/cage. I would say he would be assured of a title shot.

I really want to see this fight. I hope that Jardine can pull off a victory, but 4 losses in a row would crush Silva mentally I think.

It seems like the fight that should happen, and I don't think Wand is going to back down from a challenge.

If Wanderlei wins it sucks because Jardine lost, if Jardine wins it sucks because Wanderlei lost again. Still looking forward to a great fight, wonder when this will happen if it does...

I found this the other day...but haven't noticed anything more recent.
Keith Jardine believes he’s next in line for a UFC Light Heavyweight title shot - MMAFightLine.com
I'm hoping that it'll bappen...should be a good ol' fashioned brawl!

i think wandy will tear through jardine. if not though, i will concede that jardine really is a title contender and that wandy may really be on his way out
