Meh i cant bealive he went back instead of Stepping up and Taking ppl on in the UFC, Shame, Lost a lot of repsect for him.

He DID step up and he got KO'd. Cro-Cop ran into Napao Gonzaga on Napao's best night. That vicious head-kick KO will be on highlight reels for years to come. Then, he lost to Kongo in a match where Mirko was kicked in the yarbles a few times too many. So, he lost two frikkin fights. He needs time to get ready for a return to the UFC. And, a "shame?" I don't see it that way. Mirko Cro-Cop Filipovic has had an awesome kickboxing and MMA career. He could quit and walk away today and go down as one of the best heavyweights of all time. I may feel disappointed, but I will never lose RESPECT for Cro-Cop. Say what you like about Fedor, but I would rather be a fan of Cro-Cop and Big Nog any day. They are both great heavyweight MMA fighters. They were not afraid to test themselves. Both Nog and Mirko had troubles. Nogueira just overcame them much better and won a title for his risks.

Everyone says CroCop "left" the UFC, when in fact the UFC wanted him to leave just as much with the money they were paying him after 2 losses.

haha!! , he liked the freak show fights that PRIDE put together, like Dos Caras Jr , and Minowa , and half of the other Below average japanese fighters.

So what's actually freaking happening? is Crocop totally done in the UFC? not even one more fight??

This Whole departure has left me with a question , what are the reasons for leaving the UFC?? is it becoz its a cage?? different rules?? had hasnt said a reason for actually leaving?

In a press conference for DREAM, he said that he plans to one day return to the UFC. Whether he was just saying that to avoid some bad PR, I don't know, only time will tell.

"There's an arrangement/understanding that if CC is able to rack up a couple of wins in some of the smaller shows (and can get his head screwed back on straight) DW will let him come back to the UFC (if he wants to) and go after the title again.

DW likes CC and respects and supports his decision on this. He completely expects to see CC back inside the Octagon in the future landing head kicks just like before... if not better.

thats very good hears to hear! , it would be funny to see him face a few cans again and KTFO of all of them! , but the fun is when he faces off against the big guys in UFC.

I didn't really lose respect for him but i do feel sorry for him. You can really see it in his face that he wants out of that cage.

Things happen for a reason if he's meant to come back he will, if not then it wasn't meant to be and he will be better off fighting some where else. Where ever he goes I will follow and support him.
