What Happen With Roger Huerta?

Since he fought so many times in 07, I think he said he was taking off until this summer sometime. So yeah, like Rumbin said, you can probably expect to see him back in June.

I think Florian said he was going to fight him but Roger decided to take some time off.

Sorry guys, but we're going to have to wait a bit longer to see Huerta fight.

According to mmamania.com a week or so ago, he won't be back until September 2008 at the earliest. He was a little burnt out from fighting five times in '07 and training year-round. Now he's taking a break, finishing his college degree and filming the new "Tekken" movie based on the video game.

By September, he'll probably be given a warm-up fight, before he fights a real challenger or compete for the title.

I can imagine being burned out take 5 fights in a year. What really makes me wonder is how the hell Gumby and Fulton do/did 10+ fights a year.

Yeah, Huerta is taking a well deserved break but he will be back. Can't find the exact interview now but he stated it after his last fight.

i think its the level of training moreso than the number of fights that wears you down

but i dont know how you could have 10+ fights in a year without training pretty hard for a long time

I don't think is scared. This guy want to fight the best fighter to show what is able to do.

I love to watch Roger perform, and he showed some excellent skills in his fights. And if he chooses to do chill for a while. Then that is understandeble.

I had typed out a long infraction magnet, but decided to delete it because I want to return tomorrow.
I see alot of people hate this guy, but I dont know why.
He always displays a good fight, he doesnt complain, he doesnt show weakness, or duck anybody.
I dont see any of his fights being a walk in the park, but who am I? If anyone knows of a reason to dislike him whether its in the fighting, or personal worlds, please tell me?
