I'm sorry but I really want to see A.Silva lose
I've got nothing against the guy because he's a phenomenal fighter. But ever since he manhandled my boy Ace I've been jonesin' for him to get beat. I was on the edge of my seat when Travis Lutter almost had him a couple of times lol. I feel like Hendo has the best chance of any middleweight to beat him right now. If Dan don't beat him, I don't see anybody else that can unless somebody else drops to middleweight.
C'mon Dan! Make it happen bro!

GSP must move up if Dan fails imo.

We better wait to see how GSP fares against Serra before we talk about him moving up!
I am rooting for Hendo in this one also. People seem to think that Silva is unstoppable since he came to the UFC. I don't dislike the guy, I just want Dan to prove to all of the newer fans that Silva isn't unbeatable.

LOL, nublood.
You may just get your wish man. Even though I don't want to see Anderson lose, I have Dan as the favorite in the fight.
I will say this, nothing felt better than to see all the Franklin fan's spirits crushed after not believing in Anderson.

I want him to lose too, I'm all for the english language.
Most people didnt even know who he was until he smashed Leban. Then all of a sudden he's the best.

I'm planning to go all in on Hendo. Only because he's fought bigger dudes and beat them down.
And he hung in there with Rampage. I mean he went 5 rounds straight up with Page. A guy who's physically a HW. Did Hendo come up short? Damn right, but he hung in there and made Page look like a BJJ expert.
In other words, Hendo didnt go out like no punk.
Hendo is fighting a far smaller geniune MW in this fight. I like Anderson Silva, and MAYBE he lands some nasty combos on Hendo. BUt.....
Hendo has taken the best from Wanderlei, Rampage and a ton of others we have no time here to mention.
I think Hendo takes this.

I have nothing but respect for Anderson Silva as a fighter. I have nothing against him as a human being either. I would still like to see Dan win.

I don't want to see either lose. I guess if I had to choose who I wanted to win this fight it would be Silva though. Whoever wins, I would be very surprised if this isn't a great fight.

Hendo just may make your wish come true.
Should be a good fight regardless!

I was one of those guys who thought Rich was unstoppable. My heart did drop a little when Franklin went down that way . I never doubted Silva though. Then again I had/wanted Franklin to win the 2nd time round also lol. I probably won't bet on this fight, it's too close.
Your right on the GSP/Serra Saka. I think GSP will be ok anyway .

No need to be sorry. Everyone has their own favorite Personally I definitely want to see Silva beating down Henderson, by brutal KO (but not too soon of course ).
If you don't count UFC 17, this will be Hendo's second match in the UFC and a second title fight. That is just ridiculous if you ask me..

Man, I use to like you, MWM...J/K, man.
But see, at least you didn't doubt Silva's skills. I can't remember how many times I had to defend Anderson from people that didn't want to admit Anderson was the favorite in the second fight.

-Nog,at HW,barely submitted him,Arona at LHW had problems on the ground. No way Silva submits him.
-KO?Possible,but he ate shots from Wandy and Rampage.Silva's the best, but Dan's proven to be as durable as they come.
-He's stylistically the worst matchup for Silva.
We may be a little over zealous in proclaming Silva's greatness.Of course he looked good against Marquardt,Franklin,Leben, and Lutter, but they are nowhere near the level of Arona,Nog,and Wandy.Hendo has simply fought better opponents.
The only thing that worries me is Dan's fights with Misaki. He did not look good at all.
I think Hendo will grind him out.

I think to not call Anderson a great fighter would be untrue.
Has Dan fought tougher competition? Yes.
Is Dan tough to finish? Yes.
Do I think Dan is the favorite in the fight? Yes.
But none of these things take away from Anderson being a great fighter. He's finished everyone of his opponents since coming to the UFC, and he's beaten top 10 competition, if not top 5, in Franklin and Marquardt.
And if I'm not mistaken, someone picked Marquardt to beat Silva.

By which I meant beat Silva's fist with Marquardt's face.
And for the record,I didn't say Silva wasn't a great fighter.I'm saying perhaps he's not as great as we think.

Thanks for clearing that up.
If we're saying that Anderson hasn't built the legacy that Dan has, then I can agree with that.
Dan will be his toughest test, no doubt. I just hope its one he can pass.
