As a fan, I would rather see Randy fight Nog instead of Fedor, but how both sides have been talking, I don't see Randy and Dana making up any time soon.

How does fighting Nogueira do nothing for Randy? Nog is easily the #2 HW in the world behind Fedor. Beating Nog would move Randy up in the rankings and prove to me that he actually deserves a shot at Fedor. I don't understand where Randy is coming from. I've been saying this all along as well. The UFC has provided Randy with tailor made opponents during his last two fights. And the UFC marketing machine has done an amazing job at promoting Randy. But if one takes away the promotion effect AND really really really "objectively" analyze Randy's fights, one would come to the conclusion that Big Nog will have no problem beating him.

I hope to god they fight, because I'll get good odds on Nog.

I would really love to see Randy fight Nog. In fact it would be great to see Randy fight Nog and Fedor fight Barnett while they are all waiting for the matchup, because the best should be fighting the best, but in all actuality Randy will sit around and Fedor will still fight subpar competition. It makes me sad.

I would really like to see Randy and Fedor fight. Dont really care to see him fight Nog nothing in it for Randy to prove.IMO if he fights Fedor he will retire for good win or lose, Mabe Dana will try and arrange a one fight deal between the two after its all about the money for Dana.

Its weird how some people are saying he shouldnt fight nog. Nog is rate # 2 below fedor. In my opinion if he cant beat nog, then whats the point.

I would like to see Randy back in action soon. Hopefully vs Fedor since everyone wants that fight. The problem is if he did take this fight I dont see him winning, Nog may be the hardest fighter to finish and I just dont see Couture being able to do this personally. I think could be winning against nog but within those 5 rounds eventually Nog will get a sub I think. Just a bad style matchup for Randy. So if he does lose then the hype for Randy vs Fedor will still be there, but not nearly as much as before.

Anderson Silva could not even get his name tossed into a hat in a title picture in PRIDE. But, he improved. He is now considered the #1 MW in the world, if not in MMA history. Matt Lindland? Nope. It's Anderson Silva.

Big Nog should NEVER be taken so lightly. Fedor won twice, but Nogueira can improve. I actually feel that Nog would beat both Couture and Fedor, if they were his next two fights.
