Default Ufc 85?

All the way through UFC 82 adverts were coming up informing us that at UFC 85 Chuck Liddell will be taking part in the joint headliner in London. Not once did they mention Shogun. Do you guys think this is because Shogun is coming off a loss, or becuase he isn't as well known in America or is there another reason. For the people that know about mma and not just the UFC, last year Shogun was known among a large proportion of fans as the no.205er so why would the UFC not want to market that. Also with Brock now fighting Coleman in August who will be the joint headliner at UFC 85? surely not Vera vs Werdum?

TBH Id much rather see Vera/Werdum as a co-main than a fight involving Lesnar.

Im guessing the fight between Chuck & Shogun hasnt been fully signed and completed yet, which would explain why they didnt announce Shogun at all.

I assumed that about Shogun as well but I thought I read somewhere it was all sewn up.

I know what your saying about Lesnar and although I hate to admit it there is part of me (most likely the teen that used to be a big WWE fan) that would like to see Brock Lesnar fight live.

Also as far as im aware Vera vs Werdum is all signed, so if that was the co-main event would they not mention it when they mentioned chuck being part of a co-main event.

Because Dana White needs to make an announcement that will change the face of the UFC forever live during a press conference.

I think that shogun is injured again so he's had to withdraw from his fight with Chuck, least i think that the reason anyway ?
