I'd like to hear him say that. Does anyone have that interview? Sounds like an extremely dumbass comment
to say knowingly that it would hurt your own career.

Taken from a recent article,
"And while Parisyan stood firm in his denial of any knowledge of an offer to fight Fitch, he did admit to requesting an opponent other than Fitch."
“You have to understand,” Parisyan said, “that I was offered a title fight for sure, so I said, ‘You know what? I’ll get an opponent that I have a higher percentage of beating.’ I still think I can beat Jon Fitch. But still, the reality is, it’s still a tougher fight.“

all that crap proves is that Karo's last loss was almost a year ago and hes been extremely active in facing solid opponents
I dont see how that proves fitch deserves anything over Karo. Not at all.
basically thats probably the worst argument as to why fitch deserves a shot over karo, **** i can think of better pro-fitch arguments and i think karo is the better fighter

If Karo is a better fighter then Fitch, then why is Karo afraid to fight Fitch? I posted a link above to Karo himself saying he didn't want to fight Fitch because he wanted to fight an opponent he is more likely to beat. I think Karo is a great fighter and he has fought a lot of tough opponents, but like I said the simple fact that he said he rather not fight Fitch because he thought it would be a "tougher fight" makes me lose a little respect for him. A fighter should not only be willing to, but should demand to fight the best of the best in their division especially if they want to someday call themselves the champion of the division.

For me its a given that Fithch deserves the title shot more then Karo. Karo lost to Diego and Fitch didnt. That is the big difference why Fitch deserves it more then Karo.
Im not saying that Karo isnt deserving a shot, maybe he does but Fitch deserves it more.

although id like to see fitch fight karo soon, then there wouldnt be much action for the belt, whereas if fitch can have his shot now and karo after, and that way the title situation remains interesting for a while

Fitch deserves it because he won all of his last fights against IMO tougher competition and finished most of them. Look at Karo's wins: UD UD UD UD etc
We have heard countless times how Fitch just fights the best while Karo says "I want to fight him, I don't want to fight him."

how many split decisions has karo had? at least those UDs are not SD SD SD SD
and at least they were alll ****in exciting fights which karo controlled
i dont believe fitches record is any more difficult than karo's to be honest

i promise you that if silvaslid a contract in front of karo with Fitch's signature on the dotted line karo would sign that boy like a cheap groupie
there was no contract ever presented to him, PLUS most fighters and their managers think the same way karo is the scape goat because he said it

One of the SD was against Diego, the same guy that Karo lost too. And the quote of how Karo will fight some and not others is recent as of now so I think it is relevant. Also Fitch finishes most of his fights in the last four years Fitch had two more fights than Karo, against IMO tougher competition. Also Fitch 5 fights going to a decision while Karo has 9. So that means Karo has 9/10 fights going to decision while most of the time Fitch finished his opponents.

i remember everyone saying how Karo got robbed
anyways, i dont put much stock in finishing opponents
i guess thats a "difference" i put stock in going three rounds and being a more effective fighter than your opponent
i respect your opinions though, just from MY perspective i fail to find validity in it is all

Karo got robbed against Sanchez? okay, i can't see that but okay.
I think Karo is an exciting fighter but he is right behind Fitch at the moment. I put a lot of stock in finishing fighters. It is like Chuck and Tito. Who was more dominant? I say Chuck was because he finished his fights more. For me it is the same with Karo and Fitch.

I do think that Karo is a different fighter now then he was when he fought Diego. He lost that fight because he lacked the cardio that Diego had. I would like to see them fight again. I think there would be a different outcome.
