Anderson Silva ended up winning the title fight, I think if Henderson was in shape he could have lasted longer. I don’t know why somebody would go into a title fight not in shape and ready to go five rounds. Anderson looked tough but once again I saw holes in his game.

Anderson showed holes in his game in his last fight. Well Matty boy , you showed no skills in your last fight so maybe you should keep your mouth shut.

Didnt we all see holes in Silvas game, Dan won the first round. He wouldnt be able to if there wasnt any holes.
But then again everyone has holes in their game... but Silvas are very very small.
I think that he has the same right as everyone to comment Silvas match. Its not like he said he would beat him or anything.

Sure he can comment on the fight. But does he have to take away from Silvas win by saying "Dan wasn't in shape" or "I see holes in Silvas game" ? Matt should spend a little more time working on his own game or get into the ring with Silva. Then he wont be seeing anything until the swelling goes down.
Damn this guy really knows how to make himself look stupid. He got man handled in his last fight and hes gonna sit here and talk down on a man who is the most dominating fighter in the UFC as of right now and is on his way to being the most dominating champion in UFC history. Keep it up little hughes.

Long thinn legs are one of them, i think he can be legglocked again.
Hughes loosing is not the same that he can never comment a match again,
after all he won a few aswell and have been involved in this game for a very long time.He might very well be the most dominant champ ever in UFC history.
Have no idea if Hendo was out of shape or not but we have seen him better, thats all I know.

The point is, He's making exscuses for someone else. He has never wanted to give credit to a supreme fighter, other than patting himself on the back.Cocky just flows from this guy when someone is taking the spotlight indefinitly from him.Stop crying guys.

I agree. After the first round he was breathing incredibly hard. And what for? He has had very poor performances at 185 pounds in the past. After rd 1 he subsequently pulled some weird kind of guard, clinched against the fence to work for a takedown, and after failing he resorted to throw his patented bombs leaving him exposed. Also, he said could have lasted longer, never said he thought he could have won.I think if Henderson was in shape he could have lasted longer.

He was found to be susceptible to exactly what Henderson was doing in the first round. And exactly what we all speculated needed to be done.Anderson looked tough but once again I saw holes in his game.
I see no evidence here of him being cocky, or making excuses for other fighters. It is what he perceived when he witnessed the fight. The subsequent criticism of this statement leads me to believe that other statements made by Matt which might hold merit to a harsh public reaction has in turn affected every statement he makes from here on out.

I'm sure he has learned from his past mistakes my man. If you see it why can't anyone else do it? fact is, wouldn't have mattered if Hendo was in shape or not. What's the big deal here? It feels wrong to stick up for Hughes but this is a non-issue. Come on guys.
Having said that...of course I wish he would fight Silva to expose those holes he keeps seeing. Matt's a little chubby and walks around at more than 170, that's for sure, so making weight should be no problem.

These are all excellent points, but Henderson has been around long enough to know how to prepare. I think he didnt realized the strength of Anderson, and was putting everything in it, which caused some heavy breathing.
I guess Matt's personality( which noone can argue cocky)
left a bad taste in my mouth personally for not just giving credit, and then ending story.
But your most definetly right though, who would be better to comment than a veteran of mma.
He have been submittet more then once before so why not.Its not like you can not be submittet just because you have a BJJ black belt.
Like some other people I don`t look at anyone as unbeatable.
Right now he is very difficult, but he have allways been that, his a good fighter. But it does not mean he can not be beaten.
I can go as far as say holes might not be the right word to use since he can do allmost anything, but there are deffenetly ways to beat him.
