I'm thinking this is not going to go well for sherk. Yeah sherk is a great wrestler and has good groun n pound but gsp is way to slippery and skilled to get cought up by a wrestler. Gsp 1st round by sub. I would have liked to see sherk go against the mouth Sanchez in 57 and Gsp vs Hughes in 56.

Sherk is a ground and pounder and might shut down Geroges submission skills. But I doubt it highly.

i saw gsp fight against some wrestlers before example jay hieron, matt hughes...
look at the jay hieron fight, that was a total domination for gsp,
sean sherk is more like matt hughes, so if we look at the fight gsp vs hughes, we can see that very strong fighters can do something against gsp and they have a chance of taking him down, remember the fight against trigg when gsp overpowered trigg on the ground, at this moment trigg coulnt do anything but thats cause gsp was stronger and more skilled
i think sherk maybe will take gsp down but i dont see him GnP gsp, i think hes a b level hughes and even hughes was not able to do real good dammages on the ground by GnP on gsp
cant wait to see that fight

i agree 100% kinda sick of all the sherk talk building him up... he got killed by hughes. and gsp hasnt shown any weakness in his whole career except for 1 second vs matt hughes...
and yes im a huge gsp fan, but i think hughes is awesom too... would love to see a rematch. however im not so sure he will be able to get past riggs tomorrow!

Anyone that can go 5 rounds with Matt Hughes has my respect. I'll just leave it at that.
I'm ready to see this fight big time!

yes and no... matt hughes is awesome but sometimes tends to just hold people down, since they both have a similar style it doesnt surprise me he lasted that long

Gsp!!!!
I think a lot of people are still thinking of the old GSP (ie. last time he fought Matt Hughes). He has improved so much since then. Did you see how easily he was passing Triggs guard in their last fight? Trigg would be in full guard and GSP would just slide his knees forward and pass his guard almost to easily. Mark my words GSP will be a champion. I think that GSP has a much better chance next time of beating Matt Hughes. I think he going to walk all over Sherk.

This fight I have a feeling is going to be a war. I think Georges will pull a submission in the third round.

Sherk TKO over GSP. He will get him down and elbow him untill the fight is stopped. One reason I'm saying this is because I want all of the GSP talk to die down a little bit. He's a great fighter but people are already giving him the belt and he fights in the same weight class as Matt Hughes. So what he does spin kicks and heel stomps.

I doubt it will be a TKO, he does have nice elbows but he will probably win by descision or submission

Georges totally dominated that fight. He made Sherk look like a B level fighter. GSP has a funny way of doing that to people.
