That sounds like it would be a good fight!
Also where it says Gleison Tibau vs. TBA... on mmajunkie there was an article that said there is a good possibility that he could be fighting Joe Stevenson.

Yeah dude this fight has LEGIT implications. If Koscheck can get by the #1 gatekeeper in the division he deserves a Karo fight, or maybe a title fight. I am real shocked UFC isnt ****ting all over this undercard, as the main event will sell itself.
SHOCKED Stevensens cut is gonna get cleared that quick. Good thing that BJ fight was in the UK

I didnt realize Kos was ranked #5 WW in the world. This is an interesting match-up but I expect Kos to maintain control on the ground and win via decision b/c Lytle is hard to finish.....

I think Kos is gonna realise all to late that he cant stand and bang with Lytle.
Lytle by KO late in the first round.

Wow, I hope you are right; I figured he would get nailed 1 or 2 times and then take him down and hold him there the remainder of the fight.....

This card doesn't look that interesting to me.
6 TUF'ers so far.
Plus, I'm not a huge Rampage or Forrest fan.
I don't dislike any of the fighters..just indifferent.

I think Koscheck is really annoying so I hope for a Lytle win... but Kos has improved his stand-up since TUF (I have seen a few of his recent fights over the past few days in my mission of catching up on everything I've missed whilst not watching MMA ) and his takedowns and takedown defence were always top-notch, being a wrestler.
So I think Kos will win by TKO via ground and pound.

Lytle can DEFINATELY outstrike Koscheck. Kos likes to throw bombs even though he isn't a striker so he should get in trouble pretty quick. Lytle has some pretty good submissions, so this makes for a good fight. How is Kos jaw. I think it's pretty good, but never really seen him in trouble.

Hazelett ROCKED him at 82 and he recovered well. Clean knee and I think a left hook and Kos took a few seconds, got composed, and went back to work. I think hes got a fine chin

Now I was considering making a thread about Kos but I guess this thread kind of covers it. Now before everyone tries to correct me, I think I remember reading that they wouldn't do it as they train together, but in my opinion the next fight should be Kos and Fitch.
Kos only has the defeat to GSP in his recent UFC loss column, while Fitch has been going through everyone so I believe this fight really makes sense. Aswell as this they both have wins over Sanchez who is also up there in the WW division. Both are close to a title shot so its a shame they cant be matched up, with the winner getting a title shot. It would also be interesting as both rely a fair bit on their wrestling skills aswell.
Well I hope that kinda made sense, just wanted to get my thoughts out there. Although it wont be happening I'd like to see if anyone agrees with that.

I don't think Kos is ready for Fitch, Steve.
I think Kos has great skills, but he's just not polished enough to take a fight from Fitch, IMO.
I think a win against Lytle is a better indicator of where he stands in the division.

Cheers for the feedback mate. Reguarding this matchup, both guys have been looking to bang recently and if it goes that way I might give a slight edge to Lights Out. Surely Kos will go back to his wrestling here and go for the g'n'p decision, anything else would be dangerous for him.

Agreed. And a Win for Lytle here shows me that Lytle is still improving and where he stands in the division.
Defiantely a great match up! Good job Joe Silva!

I agree, and also even though some people have not been impressed and/or have called Fitch boring, I believe he has earned a title shot after GSP/Serra is done.....
