I am personally not a Dana hater or anything like and I agree w/ most of what he says about the UFC having the best fighters in the world and most of what the other orgs have are amatuer compared to the UFC.

I do believe Kimbo has a ton of potential though and could very well b/c a great MMA fighter within the next couple years or so.....

I agree 100%. I also find it funny that Dana White in some interviews has basically disregarded Kimbo and says that he would pretty much get killed in the UFC. Meanwhile he goes and signs former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar who had one fight against a can and pays him more then some of the more proven HW's in the division, which is ridiculous. Kimbo is serious as a heart attack when it comes to his MMA training. He's not training with Bas Rutten for nothing. Bas also wouldn't waste his time coaching someone who wasn't dedicated to the cause.

Dont you think that Bas training Kimbo is part of the big Kimbo slice hype machine? I mean look at the respect Kimbo gets just for training with Bas and have him in his corner. Also Bas gets alot of publicity aswell and he likes it.
Kinda feels like a big publicity stunt to me.

But on the other hand, he has some very nice standup with some solid technic, still we havent seen anything of his groundgame which could/probably sucks pretty bad. I think that if they didnt handpick his opponents the way they have Kimbo wouldnt be such a big name. Put him against a descent wrestler and he would probably be in a world of trouble.

Time will tell i guess...

Yeah... it's all been said a thousand times already. Well done getting UFC closer to mainstream, Dana. But why always act like an idiot in interviews?

Everyone who Dana views as competition, apparently needs to be insulted.
And why does he have to insult Hinkle as well to make his (biased) point? "Someone nobody's ever heard of or seen since" (or something like that). Yeah, except that he fought in the UFC two more times after that Gannon-fight.

It's always "dumbest thing I ever heard", "only an idiot would disagree", "these guys are ****ing morons" with this guy...

Dana, buddy... talking like that doesn't make you look more manly or more right. It makes you look like a biased, angry, insecure little douchebag.

i'm no longer shocked or surprised by anything Dana White says anymore. He is who he is and its doubtful he has plans on waking up oneday a new person. Just the same, i doubt the UFC or MMA would be where is it without him and the Fertittas.
