I think Tim's problem always has and continues to be his ego. At least a lot of it anyway. Tim commented about Brock Lesnar's salary, how it was more and how it had to change. I can understand being miffed about it, but he needs to worry about himself, not who's making more or who's more popular. I think, and this is my opinion, Tim is arrogant and all about his ego. They should call him "The Ego-Maine-iac."

Meh, another organization built around 1 or 2 fighters. How very unappealing.

Report: UFC Confirms Tim Sylvia Released From Contract
MMANEWS.COM
The following is an excerpt from today's news update by Dave Meltzer over at WrestlingObserver.com:
UFC has confirmed that Tim Sylvia was released from his contract, which had one fight left. Sylvia's announcement, believed to be he is leaving UFC, perhaps for M-1 Global, will be made on tonight's Inside MMA show on HD-Net.

Looks official.
He wasn't my favorite fighter but still didn't mind him. Well, I hope he fights top talent else where.

Me too. Shoot I wish we got to see Cro Cop/Tim Sylvia or Sylvia/Mir rematch. They probably didn't give him his last fight, cause they rather see him leave with a loss. He most likley beat anyone else they put in front of him, if he did finish out the contract.

he has to leave at this point... hes champ, he loses, hes champ again, loses... gets a title shot, loses... he keeps going back and forth and people were getting sick of them (if they arent already)... maybe a change of scenery would help
