I hope not, but I can see this happening expecially if Hamill is losing the standup. I expect a good fight from these guys. In fact I expect the whole card to be insane. Can't wait for tommorow.
Love the avatar NateRupe. Herring was the man that night. If you watch that fight again guys, Heath just runs across the octagon in the begining of every round and throws a big right. Had me pumped up. I love when fights start like that.

I'm with you on this one ! All the fights look great, Boetsch / Hamill has a lot of potential and Kenny / Joe will be sick ! Herring was really good that night as well ! NIce call...

Ha ha I was gone for awhile, I didn't realize that the king of NHB had returned. WAR Tony!!!
We haven't seen enough of Boetsch to make any judgments yet. I imagine that Hamill will take him down quite often but I am curious to see how Tim manages off of his back. It's going to be a good fight.

Boetsch is okay at best off his back. I saw his loss to Vladimir Matyushenko last summer. He was taken down pretty easily and dominated on the ground. Don't get me wrong, he did okay against the UFC vet, but certainly didn't show anything special. The Janitor gassed pretty badly in the last round, allowing Boetsch to make a small comeback.
That being said, I don't expect this fight to go to the ground very quickly. Even with his wrestling pedigree, Hamill doesn't go right for the takedown. He hasn't specifically overly looked for the TD in any of his 4 UFC fights.

Boetsch just needs to calm down. Dude was throwing 110% intensity the entire 1st round. He wasn't pacing himself at all. And although he landed some nice bombs? Problem with the all or nothing philosophy is that if y ou dont hurt your opponent? You're in trouble.
That's why the second round? Man I felt bad for dude. He had absolutely nothign left.
Sorry to go all Pat Miletich on everyone, but he was right when he said:
"Do You want to be a ferarri with a full tank of gas? Or a half Tank of gas?"

How much of a factor do you think fighting in Colorado made on him?

I think the altitude hurts the Heavier guys the most. I think it hurt Boetsch and Hamill both wrt their Cardio endurance. I still can't believe Hamill ate that Knee and didn't drop. Kudos to Matt for a strong chin.

I think the whole altitude thing is overrated. Some guys just have crappy cardio, and it seemed like the commentators were using the altitude as an excuse any time someone got tired.
