Like him spitting in the cage because he was pissed that HE felt the fight was stopped to early.?.?

I might not have been paying close enough attention, but I thought he was raising his hands to celebrate that he knew that he had sunk in that triangle and that Pelligrino was not getting out. I thought he was happy because he was losing the fight for a good while and his face got pummled for a good while.
I went to a boxing match at Harrah's Casino. The fighters put out their gloves, when they hit them, except one fighter swung and connected. The fighter got knocked down. The ref stopped the fight, took one point away from the fighter, and they gave him 10-15 minutes to recover.
The kick was cheap and dirty. There is no way he needed to do it, unless he was not confident in his ability to overcome this guy. Manny lost a lot of fans over this I gaurantee it. Him and his fam need to learn a lot of about sportsmanship( karo, who the **** is Jon Fitch?) He may not know who fitch is but, he knows who alves is.
I agree the golve tap with the ref and at the end of the fight is good enough. I also do not like when the fighters high five each other during the fight. It comes off as being stupid and the commentary with it.

Not dirty at all
EDIT: Plus it looked like the intent was to touch which is good enough for me. I would prefer if they like casually waved or blew kisses at each other instead of touched gloves every round.
While what you're saying is all true, it was dirty. You got this guy thinking you're going to touch gloves out of respect and then kick him? Not illegal in anyway, but definitely a b!tch move IMO.

Fact. Only an idiot would touch gloves with Manny after seeing that. He was a little jacked up, well actually a lot jacked up before the fight started. Perhaps he didn't realize the time between the touch and when he threw the kick. Having said all this, let's hear from him about it. Also, he did shake hands at the end of the fight, so perhaps the kick is blown out of proportion?

i dont think ive ever seen that, it sounds like a silly thing to do. the only time i see people give each other a high five is when theres a bit of a low blow and then someone takes a second to recover and then they high five and start fighting again

Yake another look at the Shamrock-Le fight. It was constant and really annoying.

I guess you missed Pellegrino dissing Nate while he was on top. I guess Nate didn't miss it. While I would rather he had not flipped the birds, I am sure he felt he was "getting his own back" from Pellegrino.
I am not sure Nate is quite mature enough yet to understand that just subbing the guy and acting like it was "nothing special" would be a far greater dig than flipping him off.

Guess you would have had to be there to see it.. It wasn't the fact that he spit.. Its that he looked like he did it just because he was so pissed off.. Heard quite a few more "boos" when he did it as well, so I don't think I was the only one who took it that way..

I don't like Nate but in his defense, when exactly did he flip off kurt? I watched the fight and have seen the gif of the choke at the end of the fight a trillion times(someone on here has it as their sig) and still have yet to notice any bird action.

coincidentally i just watched that fight this morning, well only the third round, and i noticed it when it happened. it was only once though, when le caught franks leg and swept his other one. i could see why they did it on that particular occasion, it didnt really bother me

Nate raises his arms, does a double-bird (I actually thought it was to someone outside the cage, rather than Kurt) and then flexed his biceps.
*edit* Ive just re-watched the gif and I was wrong, Nate just seems to hold out both fists rather than doing a double-bird. My bad.

You can play by the rules and still be unsportsmanlike. Period.
+1 - Well put.
I never cared for Manny in TUF, now he's just adding more fuel to the fire.

It isn't clear in the gif. But he does three things:
1. Raises his arms up in celebration
2. Gives the birds in the air while looking up
3. Sits up a little bit and flexes looking at Pellegrino
I think only the flexing was meant for Kurt because he made a conscious effort to sit up. The Diaz gives out their fingers like it's their signature or something. If I thought it was meant for Pellegrino I definitely wouldn't condone it let alone have it be my signature.

Yes, that was cheap and it makes him look bad. (IMO) He acted like he was going to touch gloves then he kicks him. That a bunch a crap, I've lost alot of respect for him with dirty move. Well, I think he'll figure out that what goes around comes around.
