I'd fight my mom if she were standing in the way of my career, especially when the longevity is so short.

But a bad friend you would? Just kidding. In my opinion I find some relief in fighting your friend. You know him well and you know that their are no, I am better than you feelings. Your friend will be the one you go kick a couple of adult beverages back with after the fight, no matter who wins, and when you and your friend are old, you can Reminisce about how two friends entered a ring to battle with only one exiting as the victor and how badass you guys were back in the day.

i would. my former training partner used to kick my butt grappling, but i beat him standing. he was in line for the feather weight belt (COH) but decided to quit for some reason. i always said i would fight him but he said he wouldn't fight me (even though he would've beat me). i guess it just lies in your loyalty.
