I don't pay for PPV's anymore unless there is a group of people chipping in. Otherwise I just head to a local watering hole that airs it.

What they should do is allow fans to see all the fights on the card...not just what they think are the "best" fights.

i am actually buying this PPV. Its the first PPV i've gotten since UFC 3 or 4. I am not worried about paying $44.95 for something i will enjoy.

It's not an increase if you normally purchase PPVs in HD, which I do. You actually save $5 a show now. Works for me!!!

There is a "golden" rule in business- prices go up as long and as much as they can. The only thing that stops price increases is demand destruction- and 5 bucks ain't gonna do it. I am sure that if they were forced to justify it, Zuffa would argue that they have upped the quality and quantity of free cards on Spike and, regardless of how much it sucks, they have a point.
What is crazier even than the PPV price is the ticket prices. I wonder when the recession will have an impact on the UFC's gates. They would never admit it if they did have a show that had a lot of seats open- they would "paper" the arena and call it a sell out anyway. I would love to get into Zuffa's books and see how much money they were really making- and how much Dana makes.

^^my buddy was at UFC 78 and said there were lots of empty seats. Goldie said it was sold out, and it could have been, but I doubt all those people just decided to waste their money.

This is a tough one for me becaue GSP and Franklin are both fighting. But I'm still not gonna fork over $45. It's become a Sunday ritual for me to wake up and watch the entire card for free online.

plz stop buying the ppv until the price goes back down.$45 is ridiculous for even a stacked card. for that much we should get at least 2 champ bouts and a killer under card.
