gsp vs fitch
a silva vs okami
if they both win... then its time
IMO GSP matches up well against A Silva. As long as he doesnt try and stand with him, his wrestling is amazing. Everyone used to say Matt Hughes was a bad matchup for Silva, but GSP does everything Hughes does, and does it better, is stronger, and bigger.
IMO its time for GSP to work on his Striking. He has proven that his takedowns are virtually impossible to stop, even according to Rashad Evans who is 2 weight classes above him. Now its time to work on some slick MT/Dirty Boxing. Get yo clinch game up and lets see A Silva vs GSP!!!

I want to see this fight to Krav, but I believe Silva would KTFO of Bisping standing. The Count is too easy to hit. Rashad and Hamill landed plenty of punches. Silva would land plenty, and finish.

First I think the best think for GSP is to defend is title 2-3 times. After, move up and win 2 fight and after fight against Silva.

It is an exciting fight that has huge PPV sales written all over it. I dont think it is disrespectful to any WW or MW... i think it should be a non-title fight or atleast a fight for a one time only belt so it never has to be defended.

I could live with it being a non title fight.

People are sleeping on GSP's abilities here. I don't think he would have any problems taking Silva down. Only thing he needs to watch out, because Silva can sub people and has the perfect limbs in which to do it. It would be a tough fight for GSP, don't know if he would win.
As for GSP defending his belt. I'd like to see him fight Alves, Fitch and for christ's sake... can the UFC sign Jake Shields already? He's 20-4 with a 9 fight winning streak (his last 4 fights have not gone past the first round!). He holds a MD win over Okami and a UD over Condit. I don't know for how long his contract with Elite XC is, but I would love to see him shake up the WW division in the UFC.

Possible Gsp Vs Silva
According to the Canadian press Gsp is thinking of moving up to fight Anderson Silva instead of looking at a rematch with BJ Penn. This would make for an awesome superfight that everyone wants to see .Both fighters have great qualities as fighters making this a tough fight to call.I am leaning toward Gsp but not by much.

If this is true, than he is doing the same thing he did before the serra fight. looking beyond his first title defense. there is no bigger gsp fan than I, but he needs to prove to the doubters he can stay a champion. so if and when he beats fitch than perhaps he could do it.

I remember Dana saying recently GSP-Penn was possible but didn't even want to talk about GSP-Silva. He likes champs staying in their division.

GSP could possibly be the one to stop Silva in his tracks. Silva is doing amazing with all those title defenses. So if anyone would take the belt, it would be GSP. Then again I would like to see Silva win this fight because GSP is huge and this win would scare people.

GSP need to prove that he can be a dominant WW champion. After, for him, in the past, he beat BJ Penn, so why fight him againt when he could go to MW. But he need to win two other fight before grow up.
That what I think.

After watching Thiago Alves kill Matt Hughes I'd really like to see GSP vs. Alves after the Fitch fight.

Agreed. Thiago Alves should definitely be next in line for a title shot after Fitch. Alves vs. GSP or Alves vs. Fitch would both be great potential match ups.

I am also a GSP fan but I really think GSP will get KO'ed against A. Silva. His striking is excellent and accurate, and his Ground Game is also good. GSP has been KO'ed before by Serra who throws big looping punches but Silva throws punches and kicks accurately.
If this fight will happen Silva Will KO GSP.

Personally I don't think gsp has matured enough to take on a. silva.
Silva comes in his fights relaxed and with this look of *you really dont realize what im going to do to you do you foo* were as gsp always looks intense & seems so focused that he ultimately makes a mistake & you cannot ever ever make a mistake with a.silva.

I'm going to laugh when GSP overlooks Fitch and Fitch GnP's him. Then we'll be talking about how mentally fragile GSP is again. In other words, let GSP defend his title a few times before we start talking about giving him any superfights. He still has Fitch, Alves, and maybe Swick, too.
For that matter, Silva still has Bisping, Okami, and Hendo II to think about.

I really do not want to see GSP. BJ Penn beat the crap out of GSP standing so imagine what Anderson would do?
I really wanna see GSP just tear through 170. Fitch is next, then give him Alves, if Koscheck can win get 2 wins, assuming he beats Lytle then he is next. Give Diego a chance to avoid AKA at all costs and maybe he is ready in 18 months or so. Karo is Karo and will win 2 and lose 1 but if he gets any sort of a run going give him a shot.
I think its also funny that Dana says he likes champions to stay in there own weight class but will probably allow BJ to move up. Talk about a double standard. I love BJ but he also can have a ton of challengers for years to come, which I think would cement his legacy more then a GSP win.
