Didnt he also accompany one of the fighters out to the cage? Maybe Serra...anyone remember?
I know Id be far less likely to mess with a fighter if they had Big Dan next to them, rather than one of those fat security guards they usually have!

He did actually. I recall seeing one of the security guys getting clotheslined and laughing about it, then Big Dan was in his place the next time. 
I think he calls a pretty good fight as well. Maybe a bit quick on the breaks at times but a pretty good ref overall. |

I'm a Big Dan fan. Does a solid job. The first time Bruce Buffer said his name (78?) he messed it up so bad Dan was cracking up, pretty funny.
