i cant tell if dorkesn hit him after the stoppage or if the ref jumped in without actually stopping the fight and mcdonald stoped cause he say the ref jump in then hit because the ref didnt stop yet... or if mcdonald just threw down some extra shots... very bad angel and i didnt see the fight

there is an interview on sherdog explaining what happened.. He wasn't actually told to stop until after the extra shots. Check the macdonald interview to hear it all. at work and in a hurry or I would post link.
After watching the gif Pitbull put up it seems clear that Maz didn't consider the fight done yet either seeing as how he never really intervened until after the shots. I think Mazagatti is responsible for all the confusion.
In my opinion you should only be that close to the action if you are ending the fight because it can cause confusion as it did with Jason.
I seem to remeber Herb Dean having some similiar confusing instances where he is just "kind of" called the fight over. In fact I think he even had a fight where he was waving his arm to signal the end of the fight and then he just sort of changed his mind and allowed the action to continue. Does anyone else remeber that?
I think they need to be more definative. If you are moving in that close the fight needs to be over. So far these kind of indecisive stoppages haven't changed any of the fights I can think of but one day it probably will and everyone will be enraged.

I agree and I was thinking of Herb myself.
I hate it when they get real close to the fighters before stopping it. We've seen it confuse the fighters many times, they stop punching and look up to the ref "huhwhatsthat? oh nothing, OK".
Add to that Herb even touching the fighters slightly and yelling "I'm stopping the fight, I'm stopping the fight!" before actually stopping the fight. Jesus.
You don't have to get in that close to see what's going on.
When you step in, you step in all the way so there will be no doubt about it.
And yeah, I remember Herb stopping that fight and waving his arms around only to let it continue once asking the fighter again whether he wanted to go on. Can't remember which one it was though, but I do remember there was some other controversy surrounding that fight as well.
I think that Mazzagatti is to blame here. When he first came in it wasn't 100% clear that he had stopped the fight, Jmac was just making sure that he didn't stop pummeling on Doerksen without the fight officially being over.

and the Spratt v. Ford fight. That's when Herb heard the bell, started to go in and, for some Herb reason, stepped back allowing the crowd/organization favorite Ford to land at least two vicious elbows.
Ole Herb later lied and said he didn't hear the bell at all.
How can you even compare that to what Babalu did ? He choked out a guy out and wouldn't let go until the guy was convulsing on the mat. This just looks like Mac was confused as to whether or not the fight was being stopped. Not the same at all , and not a big deal.

Before any even think of betting against him, please heed this warning. Also, I want Brock's chest against mine and for him to ride me like Herring.
I would like to hear what Steve has to say about this. The fact that he didn't yell at Jason after the fight makes me think that Steve wasn't clear enough with his initial stoppage.
Still, it's borderline. Unless Jason has a history of cheap shots, I would say let it go.
